Rajnath Uncle's Pov:

"Pranit you weren't saved by me that day.... " I told him, he looked confused.

"Then who? " he asked me curiously.

"It was.... SONAKSHI"

His eyes widen in shock and he looked at me in disbelief.Indeed it was a shocking news.

"Sonakshi..... " he asked in small voice.

"Yes....That day....." I replied while recalling the past event.

Flashback:

Mr.Ahuja left furiously after our heated conversation.I shook my head in disbelief. Is this man even serious!

My best friend destroyed her life by loving such fool.I had warned her numerous times about him, but she was blinded by love.And look where it got her.

I sighed and decided to get back to the function.When I reached there, my eyes roamed across the crowd, but couldn't find Pranit.But before I could go and find him, one volunteer came to inform me that my prescence is needed somewhere.So I went there.

About an hour pass but Pranit was nowhere to be found.I don't know why but I was getting stressed.A bad feeling, about something, I couldn't point out.

"Amit.... Did you saw Pranit?" I ask one of a volunteer who was passing by.

"Not now... But a while ago he went to find you .When you left with Mr.Ahuja, there were some people asking to see you... So I asked Mr.Verma and he told that he will find you" He informed me.

I became still after hearing his words.Could it be possible that he heard our conversation.No... It can't happen.

Turning around I started asking everyone around about his presence.No one knew where he was, and I was getting worried.

When I was making my way towards his room, passing the entrance.I saw him making his way out.Hurridely, I moved towards him and followed him.

My knees being weak as an result of old age, I couldn't match his pace.

Once on the street, I saw him crossing the road and the signal was showing green light.I started screaming calling his name, but he didn't hear.

Panic started to flow through my system.I promised my friend to protect her son, it can't happen.

Suddenly, the view in front of me, petrified me.A Car was moving in full speed towards Pranit and he was still on his place.

A girl suddenly started running towards him. I too, hurridely tried to cross the road but a sudden crash sound startled me.

Everything stopped for a moment.The Car halted at a distance and so did the other.I saw the girl who fell on the road fully soaked in blood.The same one who ran towards him.

Terrified by the sudden scene I made my way towards her.People were gathered around her, and some of them calling the ambulance.I saw Pranit on the other side of the road lying unconscious.

She saved him.... The realisation hit me hard.

A lady was helping her so I made my way towards Pranit.Turning him around, I saw that his head was hurt because of the sudden fall.

I hurridely called my driver to come here right away.

My Car came in no time and both Pranit and that unknown girl were taken to the nearby hospital.
