Dinner was done and most guests had left. Only the family was there. Hassan could not meet Raima after that. She'd been inside most of the time but now Ayesha was adamant on taking her to have some walk after dinner.

"I have seen you're quite lost after you came back to the room earlier, before the party." Ayesha asked, walking around.

"Am I too boring, Ayesha?" Raima asked, confusion etched on her face.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, is my company so dull that anyone would get bored of me very soon?"

"Umm...you've busied yourself with studies and work so much that you don't really have time for anything else or any fun thing. You know, No me time." Ayesha sighed and Raima nodded.

"So what do I do? Leave my studies or my work?" Raima shrugged.

"Don't leave anything but at least you can take care of yourself or spend time with family & friends? You took an appointment with your dermatologist before your Nikkah, what happened after it? Did you go back or not?

"No."

"Exactly. May I know who made you question this?"

"Hassan."

"Did he say you're boring?"

"No...he said it is boring or I guess this is boring."

"What does this or it mean here?"

"Umm...us...our relationship." Raima shrugged.

"When was the last time you and Hassan bhai went on a date or like, had an "us" time after Nikkah?

"I go from university to his office every week and if not me, then he comes to office–"

"Oh please Raima, I am not talking about that cup of tea or lunch while doing office work or in a stressed work environment." She cut Raima off.

"Umm..we met on Ahil bhai's nikkah."

"Really? Half the time you were sleeping and the other half eating. Secondly, it wasn't "us" time. Everyone was there. Moreover, it wasn't planned by you guys."

"That's all." Raima shrugged.

"So you're right. Hassan bhai wasn't actually calling you boring. He was talking about your relationship with him and that definitely needs improvement. Take some time off, even if it's a sunday when you don't have work. Spend a day with him. Go shopping, have lunch or dinner. Spend time with each other. By boring it means the time you guys spend together is dull because you don't date in an office while discussing the next work project. Have some brain."

"You're right. I never thought about it." Raima mumbled.

" I was feeling hurt because of his words and..."

"It's okay. You were hurt, there's no problem. We don't have control on what hurts and what doesn't."

"But we do have control on whether what we're saying will hurt others or not..." Raima said in a guilty voice.

"What have you done?" Ayesha looked at her suspiciously.

"I said...." Ayesha's eyes widened with each word and she glared at her at the end.

"WERE YOU IN YOUR SENSES RAIMA? IS THIS A JOKE? JUST BECAUSE OF ONE SMALL ARGUMENT YOU WENT TO ENDING EVERYTHING?" Ayesha shouted and Raima bit her lips. Ayesha was one of the few people she gave the right to shout at her when she's wrong.

"I'll sort it out...."

Hassan and his family were about to leave now and were standing near the car, just bidding goodbye. His eyes wandered around and met Raima's eyes but both of them averted them. It was difficult to talk in front of the whole family. Hassan was hurt by her words of ending the relationship. He didn't mean that. He called the relationship boring, not her. She misunderstood him, but even if she did, she should've thought twice before saying to end it all. Did he hold no place in her life that it was too easy for her to end it? He was falling for her and she had nothing from her side in this relationship? He understood he'd hurt her too but divorce? He thought about it while sitting inside after their encounter & realized that he wasn't too wrong. She first misunderstood him & then said all that. He sighed and moved to the car. If he held even a little importance in her life, she would contact him.
