The tranquil ambience shatters
under the grim daylight that breaks through.
The world spins.
My heart stops.
Life begins,
whilst mine ends.
The darkness swallows me
a whole, evading my not so
pretty soul.
The flicker of light seems
so faraway yet the
warmth reaches me through
thick and thin.
I'm alive again.
