Benjamin x Reader: Reunion

I bounce my leg anxiously in Matt's office. It had been a week or so since his team had found me in Syntec Location 3. They told me that when they found me I was pretty much unresponsive except for me calling out a name. The name of someone I hadn't seen in years or heard from in years. Matt told me that if I wanted that they would set up a meeting for me to see that person. I had quickly agreed due to how I felt towards that person.

Ben's POV

"Come on let's go," Matt says as he hurries me into his car.

Matt and his team had just bailed me out of jail despite everything I had done to them. I climb into the back of Matt's car eyeing him curiously. He told me he had a surprise for me back at the studio.

"Are you going to tell me about this surprise?" I ask.

"Nope," Matt says looking over at Sam who was sitting in the passenger seat next to Matt.

I huff in annoyance as Matt drives us to the studio. Once at the studio Matt takes me upstairs in what they call Blue base. He sets me down in the meeting room. I watch as Sam hands the camera to Woods before leaving with Bailey.

Y/N POV

Sam and Bailey opened the door to the office and gestured for me to follow them. I silently follow them out of the office and upstairs. I nervously bite the inside of my cheek as Sam opens the door to the meeting room.

"Ready?" She says back to me.

I nod as she and Bailey walk into the room. I take a deep breath before walking inside. There sat at the table was Ben. Benjamin Cobalt. An old friend. An old lover to be more specific. His eyes scan my frame quickly as his eyes widen. The team must not have told him that he would be meeting with me. He quickly stands up.

"Y/N?" He says, looking at me.

I smile slightly hearing him say my name. I watch as he quickly rushes over to me pulling me into a tight hug. My arm immediately wraps around him tightly as he clings to my waist. It felt good to be in his arms again.

"How?" Ben asks. "How are you here?"

"We found her at Location 3. She was unresponsive except for her saying one name. Yours" Matt explains.

"Oh Y/N what did they do to you?" Ben asks as he pulls back just enough to look over me. His hand holds my face gently.

"They..." I started to explain but stopped as memories flashed before me. "They tortured me. They wanted to know where you were. I couldn't give that away. Eventually, I was able to escape from them so I hid at Location 3 because I remembered they weren't using the location anymore since they set up the trap for Deb. I waited for so long for someone to come to find me that I ran out of food. That's why I was unresponsive when they found me."

"We were able to get her back here and get her awake enough to eat. She then explained to us who she was. Your name came up again which is why we decided to bail you out so we could reunite you two." Matt explains.

"Thank you," Ben says, holding me tightly. "If there is anything you need help with or want to know please let me know. I owe you for this." Ben leans down close to me whispering in my ear "We have a lot of catching up to do especially since I know, now that you yearn for me even when you're unconscious."

My face immediately turns red as I hear the words slip out of Ben's mouth. I look back at the team before grabbing Ben's hand. "Thank you for bringing him to me. Mind if I take him for a while?" I ask.

"Go ahead," Matt says smiling.

I pull Ben out of the meeting room and down the stairs. Once we were outside I pulled him to me, pulling his mask off to kiss him roughly. "We do have a lot of catching up to don't we," I say after I pull out of the kiss
