I clucked my tongue, squeezing my legs and Loki brought himself up into a canter, with another small squeeze he moved faster just in time for him to push up on his back legs and sore over the jump, I lifted myself out of the saddle and moved my arms with his neck, landing smoothly and going into the next jump right away.
Riding used to clear my mind but it just isn't working.
I thought dropping being little would be easy. But it's not a thing you can drop at all. I just want to regress and feel better but I can't. It's weird. It's not right.
It is for me.
I wasn't paying attention as Loki went into the next jump and I lost my stirrup in hair, landing hard on his back.
"Sorry." I said, bring him down to a trot, then walk. I walked in circles, trying to focus on other things, then I went back up to canter to redo the whole thing.
Hearing gravel kick up as I went into the course, I looked over and saw some expensive car roll in. Never seen it before.
Then the window rolled down and the car stopped. That looks like-
I lost balance and clamped around Loki, then he went faster. "No- coco-"
Losing both stirrups, I went into another jump. "Loki!"
He stopped dead in his tracks before the triple oxer and my body folded, I went head first into three poles, grunting, as I hit the hard ground, winded, then the poles fell on top of me.
A car door slammed and a second later I saw Tate run over to me. Tate?!
He moved the poles off of me and I tried to sit up but he didn't let me, "slow down there." He said with a little chuckle.
"I'm fine." I muttered and sat up, then a sharp pain shot up my spine, I whimpered and laid back. "I just like it down here."
"Can you grab my horse." I mumbled, "I don't want him to step on the reins."
He gave me a hesitant look, then got off his knee and walked over to the horse and put the reins back over his neck.
I pushed up to my feet and brushed myself off, then walked over to Tate and took my horse. I fixed the stirrup, then lifted my leg up into it and pulled myself up into the saddle.
"What are you doing?" He asked quickly.
"The pain kicks in later." I said, tapping Loki's side and began to walk. "Can you fix the poles city boy."
"You just fell face first into dirt and now you're gonna do it again?" I nodded. He walked over to the jump, swearing, and fixed the poles. "That's not safe. You could have a broken bone."
I squeezed Loki's side and he brought himself back up into a canter, then I went up into two point as he took off over the first jump, getting one stride in before jumping to the other one.
