Author's POV

After that day, Seoyeon came back to her usual bubbly self. Namjoon kept his words of being her service to work and back home. Their busy schedule never became a hindrance for the two to have their short dates. But today is a different one, because it's finally Sunday. It's their picnic day. Seoyeon actually spent her Saturday in grocery shopping for their supplies and for the food that she will bring at the picnic today. She woke up early to prepare her special traditional kimbap and the tuna kimbap that Hwayoung requested. Eunhye and Ara woke up early as well, to help her cut the ingredients and to quicken her preparation.

"Ara, please slice the carrots into strips and sauté it with salt after." Seoyeon instructed to Ara, who nodded affirmatively. "Eunhye, please mix the mayo and drained tuna. Don't forget to add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste." And Eunhye did what was said.

They don't complain, because they will also have kimbaps. Since Seoyeon will be gone for the day, she decided to make some for the two so that they will have some food in case they get hungry. Seoyeon then continued to cook the scrambled eggs while also cooking the spinach. While she was busy with it, the couldn't help but to smile at her. They can see that she's happy with what she is doing.

"He's so blessed to have you, Seoyeon." Eunhye commented, while Seoyeon hummed in question. "Because you're such a wife material. You cook deliciously, work diligently, good with kids, and super caring and loving." Eunhye explained while mixing the tuna.

"He better take good care of you or else...." Ara added and slice the carrot loudly, "He'll get a taste of my wrath." She said and Seoyeon chuckled to hear the two's remarks.

"Don't worry, you two. He will have to face me before that." She then assured, "And I know he wouldn't intend on hurting me or anything like that."

They continue to tell her how they will defend her when something bad goes wrong, while she just smiled and appreciated all of it. She can feel how much they care for her, and she is moved by it. The three continued their work and after two hours of constant work, Seoyeon was able to finish five of each kimbaps. She left two of each for Ara and Eunhye, while the kimbaps left were sliced into pieces and then wrapped into foil. It will be easier for them to eat it without using chopsticks. She took her lunch bag and securely placed the kimbaps there with the sauce. Ara and Eunhye insisted in cleaning so that Seoyeon could prepare for the picnic.

Seoyeon took a bath and went directly to her closet after doing so. She's deciding whether she should wear a dress, but she remembered that they will go to an amusement park after the picnic, so she chose to wear her brown, wide-leg pants and tucked in her white, shortsleeved turtleneck for the top. She accompanied her attire with her favorite green varsity jacket that her father bought for her. After that, she tied her hair in a braid and left some strands on the sides. It made her giggle to see herself on the mirror. She looks just like those days when she was still studying. She then checked the time and realized that Namjoon will arrive any time soon, so she quickly checked her things.

"Phone. Powerbank. Cables. Handkerchief. Purse. What else?" She asked to herself as she eyes the room and her eyes landed on the beautifully wrapped item on her vanity. "Right. Namjoon's gift." She snapped and took that thing to place it in her bag.

A few minutes later, she heard a knock on her door. It's Ara, saying that Namjoon is waiting downstairs for Seoyeon. She then quickly checked herself and put some perfume before leaving the room with her bag. They let her wear her shoes first, then handed her the lunch bag. After bidding each other goodbye and giving reminders, Seoyeon left the apartment. She immediately saw Namjoon downstairs, so she swiftly yet carefully went down to greet him.
