I decided to draw Starlingpaw and his mentor, Crowflame, from a warriors rp called 'Feathers' where cats fly.
First I sketched out Starlingpaw. I modeled his wings after those of a real starling. Don't ask my what that weird line by his face is. I don't know.

I didn't save images of the lineart and everything, so we skip directly to the finished piece. I do not like how Crowflame looks at all. That's not 'pale ginger', that's YELLOW, YOU IDIOT
I do like Starlingpaw, though, his wings are patterned like a starling, and I couldn't resist adding some markings to his tail and sides—starlings are covered in speckles.
