HEAVEN'S POV:

I walked inside the mansion, fuming, irritated, questioning and what not. No way I'll let Kian win this time. For all of my life, I ignored him for whatever he did but now, no more. I'm tired and he's too proud. So lost in fancy of his power that he believes I'm his property to be owned.

I breathed heavily, promising myself to never turn my steps towards that house, ever again. I wonder how he came to know I was there...? There's a huge network running around me while I'm unaware of what's next in my own life.

Out of all these thoughts, I found my heart pounding over that one sentence. How did I get the job...? That's something next to impossible after what happened with me. I don't know what's Ariana's obsession with getting me in that workplace. Maybe Kian said so out of having nothing to say but then how am I going to confirm...?

Walking back upto my room I saw few maids with glasses of drinks, on their way towards the other end of the mansion. I think there are few guests over.. Well, in that case I'll choose peace and stay in my room.

I walked past Julian's room but my steps trembled as soon as I remembered that moment with him. When we were both so deep, exploring each other's soul... His tender lips, way tender manners on mine. It's so addictive, so intoxicating that it can make me drool like a mess anywhere without me realizing.

I blushed, standing still midway like a piece of blank paper just desire written all over it. Can this get any worse? Now I'm starting to fantasize a gangster in my arms... I snapped myself out of it and if I put aside my explanation, it was way difficult to do so. Why am I making place for something that's not anywhere near my life. All those countless stories I read, where good girls fall for the devil himself. Maybe it's rightly said, one can think a certain way and feel a certain way about same.

I sighed, standing with my back against the wall, looking up at the ceiling. Before I could breathe in peace, a strange voice startled me.

"Oh my! Look whom I found... "

I turned around abruptly at this feminine, pitched yet feeble voice that rang from the side. I saw a formally dressed lady in her late forties with a piercing look of judgement over on me, shifting over at every inch as she took few sips of drink out of the glass. She placed the glass on the tray that a maid carried by her side and began walking upto me.

I began fidgeting my fingers mindlessly, unaware of what to do next. Running inside my room would be quite rude so, I guess I'll stand here.

"Hmm... So.. Is this Charles' daughter I'm looking at? " she asked without any objective as the maid replied her when I didn't,

"Yes Madam. "

A smirk of satisfaction played on her lips while she judged all of me with her restless eyes.

"For the first time, Julian made such an elfin... Mistake" her eyes fixed back at mine as that last word left her lips.

I had no idea what to do with myself. First of all.. What is she talking about? Second of all, who is she? And moreover what is she doing here?

"Oh...! So rude of me... I didn't even introduce myself. " she smiled, proudly posing in a way as she affirmed,

"Valentina Rizzo. " she extended her hand towards me as I impulsively grabbed it with my hand and replied back,

"I'm Heaven. "

She raised her eyebrow with a smirk on her lips as she nodded.

"Oh! I'm sure you are. "

I blinked blankly, staring at this lady who appeared out of the blue. Well... This is awkward.. What are we supposed to do? She investigated me with her fine eyes and the way she did that, it seemed like she was good at judging...
