the pack was three towns down from the airport and a couple of hours away from the nearest town in wolf form about an hour max but since we needed transportation it took us a couple of hours max including the traffic we had to endure. Stuck in my thoughts a ring came through my headset "answer!" I yelled
"Just checking on you we're almost to their border do you know where we could enter from with the car"
"yeah," I said "if we move farther down the pack border there will be a dirt road the road me and my mom took when we first arrived at the pack it should be coming up in a second"
"ok thanks, I watch out for it " was the last thing he said before he hung up
just out luck ten minutes later the dirt road appeared "call RoRo"
"what's up" he answered "be prepared to stop they should have guards wolves hidden in the trees"
"gotcha"
he slowly drifted the car onto the dirt road running along the car were three wolves hidden by the trees. to the naked eye they were hidden I slow down my bike as the car came to a stop. a man fully cloth come out of the woods and up to the car he looked over the car then at me afterwards then tapped on the window
"can we help you guys are yall lost"
"no" i heard robin answer in my headset "we're the moon guardians we are upon the kingdoms wishes"
"Nice to meet you I'm head warrior Williams just keep straight at the clearing the pack is waiting outside for you guys to arrive" he announced to robin before tapping his car to let everyone know it's clear he looks back and me one last time before me and robin both speed off
he wasn't wrong when he said the whole pack was waiting
all 500 pack members not including the major families were waiting outside most faces familiar to me. robin parked the car and hopped out after analyzing him all eyes shifted right at me I decided to keep my helmet on and let robin do all the introduction bs
"Hello everyone we are the assigned guardians for the next couple of weeks, I'm Robin and this is liyah" smart man not to add the extra A to my name "I and liyah have spent the last two days making sure that this pack is on a strict schedule meaning no matter what you all do everyone has a job"
I take off my helmet and fix my hair as robin continues to talk about the goals for the pack. quickly I text back to the king letting him know we made it and are now explaining the protocols.
I look at the crowd to see all their faces lit with shock
"aliyah baby is that you," my sad excuse of a mother said cutting off robin
"Hello Mrs Evan's" my voice I'm sure is the reason why everyone gasp,why is everyone being so dramatic
"We thought you were dead," someone in the crowd said "ok well I'm not but if you don't mind just to cut this spill in half we have the first round of training tonight with robin. if all warriors could step to the side he will be talking to you all by that tree"
"what tree-" I threw a knife at a random tree not even caring to look " that tree now go"
the men training all moved toward the tree along with robing shaking his head "spoken like a true leader" I giggled and nudged him
I turned to look back at all of the males by the tree turning back to the crowd "Are there no women training" i asked
"no"
"and why is that," I said my eyes landing on former alpha "girls slow us down fighting is a man's job they are mainly used in the schools or for pack ground cleaning" former Alpha Tanner Harrison said
"you want to know what I think is weak FORMER... Alpha... Tanner Harrison"
"what would that be"
"you, I think you all are weak" I replied looking at the higher-up families "quite frankly being here and hearing that has truly disappointed me,now I need all the females that want to fight at the tree as well and if there are no offers I need all females available to train" I looked him straight in the eye then at the remaining crowd
"no offers?"
"of course, there are no offers who would listen to someone of no status," a female voice said. I soon found out that it was the now luna of the pack "this is ridiculous you can't just come walking into my pack and bossing people around like that-"
"correction luna I can, given permission by the royal council that is my job. we have a deadline and the sooner we can start the better it is for this pack. any more dumb comments?"
everyone was silent "great so since we have no offers, congrats all females are now required to train, over to the tree" the ladies all started walking that way gossiping amongst themselves.
trust me I didn't want to be a bitch but I knew this pack wasn't going to take what I say to heart so what better way than to stab a knife through the brain and drag it down to the heart.
"for my female elders you all will be running the schools if there are any accommodations I will have a box in the packhouse for you all to write and submit a letter to and for my elder males you will be required to weapon train on top of helping with the schools." I see all the elders bow their heads letting me know that they understood "for now you can all take the rest of your day to relax we will begin any school training you'll need over the next few days"
I looked and the alpha knowing that he had something to say "yes alpha is there anything you would like to add"
"yes, actually can we speak about the rest of the arrangements in the meeting hall?"
"of course we can lead the way and for everyone here, you are dismissed thank you for your time"
