Chpt.2:Moana Runs Away

[The Queen, seated in her throne room, was furious with Moana's beauty and kindness but soon had an idea and called forth the huntsman]
Queen Valentina: Take her far into the forest. Find some secluded glade where she can pick wildflowers.
Humbert: Yes, Your Majesty.
Queen Valentina: And there, my faithful Huntsman, you will murder her!
Humbert: But Your Majesty, the little princess!
Queen Valentina: SILENCE! You know the penalty if you fail.
Humbert: Yes...Your Majesty.
Queen Valentina:But to make doubly sure you do not fail, (produces a box with a dagger running through a heart-shaped lock) bring back her heart in this.
(Cut to the Black Forest meadow. Humbert the huntsman, as per Queen Valentina's orders, has taken Moana there to pick wildflowers. The princess, however, was singing to herself)
Moana: (sings)With a smile and a song. (hums to herself)
(Suddenly, a mournful chirping noise fills the air)
Moana:(to the bird) Hello there.
(the bird chirps "hello")
Moana:What's the matter? Where's your mami and papi? Why, I believe you're lost. Oh, please don't cry.
(Humbert looks from side-to-side, making sure no one's watching)
Moana: C'mon, perk up. Won't you smile for me?
(the bird chirps happily, knowing it's in good hands)
Moana:That's better. Your mama and papa can't be far.
(The bird chirps "Are you sure?")
Moana:Look! There they are!
(As he speaks, Humbert inches closer and closer to the princess)
Moana:Can you fly?
(the bird flies off)
Moana:Goodbye!
(Moana sees Humbert about to strike, and shrieks in terror. Humbert raises his dagger. Eventually, he drops it)
Humbert: I can't! I can't do it! Forgive me, I beg you Your Highness, forgive me.
Moana: I don't understand! What are you talking about?
Humbert: She's mad, jealous of you! She'll stop at nothing!
Moana:But, but who?
Humbert: The Queen!
Moana:(shocked) The Queen?!
Humbert: Now run, child. Run, run away! Hide, in the woods anywhere! Never come back. Now, go. Go! Go! Run! Run! Hide!
(Without any further argument, Moana runs off into the woods. Cut to a deep dark forest. Moana is running through the deepest part of it, which has somehow become dark and scary. She runs into a tree where a toucan comes out and screeches at her before flying away. This spooks Moana so, she runs toward a cave, but are soon frightened away by a flock of bats. As she runs, Moana's clothes catch onto a tree. The frightened princess gasps, because to her, it looks like a bunch of hands grabbing her, the same fact happening a second later as she falls into another nearby tree. She runs towards a tree that she imagines is the face of a frightened monster. She backs away, only to fall through a hole into a river. A second later, the logs seem to look like alligators, which makes Moana shriek. She runs out, only to run into a tree that seems to come to life. Running past it, she finds herself surrounded by monstrous palm trees and threatening eyes.Moana spins around for several seconds before she eventually shrieks one last time and collapses to the ground, sobbing. Suddenly, everything lights up and everything returns to normal.Little did Moana know that three little Colombian village kids named Cecilia, Alejandra and Juancho were watching her cry and felt sorry for the poor princess.One of them walked closer to Moana and rubbed her head to comfort her.Moana stopped crying and looked up as she saw the little children.]

Moana:Oh!
[The village children jumped]
Moana:Please don't run away. I won't hurt you.
Cecilia:Are you okay, ma'am?
Moana:*sniffles* I-I'm alright and I'm sorry that I frightened you.But you don't know what I've been through. And all because I was afraid. I'm very ashamed at the fuss I've made.What do you do when things go wrong?
Alejandra:Sometimes we sing to each other!
Moana:Oh you sing a song!
All:Uh-huh!
[As Moana began to sing to the little kids, they sat and listened to her beautiful voice]
🎵With a smile and a song
Life is just a bright sunny day
Your cares fade away
And your heart is young
🎶With a smile and a song
All the world seems to waken anew
Rejoicing with you
As the song is sung
🎶There's no use in grumbling
When the raindrops come tumbling
Remember, you're the one
Who can fill the world with sunshine
🎶When you smile and you sing
Everything is in tune and it's spring
And life flows along
With a smile and a song🎵
Juancho:Wow you sing beautifully.
Moana:Aww thank you, my mother sung it to me when I was your age.Singing to everyone to make them happy is my Gift
All:Oooh!
Moana:Oh how silly of me my name is Moana
Kids:Nice to meet you Moana!
Cecilia:Where are your parents?
Moana:I'm sorry but...they're both gone, and my evil step mother, Queen Valentina wants to kill me,that's why I ran away and ended up here.Now I have nowhere to sleep for the night.
[The village kids gasped and suddenly had idea]
All:We know where you can stay!
Moana:Really? Will you take me there?
[The children were excited and walked with Moana to find a comfy house where she could stay. Soon they finally arrived and saw the Madrigals Casita.Moana was really amazed at the beautiful colorful house.]
Moana:It's beautiful! Just like a doll house.
[Moana and the children walked towards the Casita then she knocked on the door that suddenly opened all by itself.Moana was surprised]
Moana:Oh! the house is magic!
Cecilia:Cmon let's go in!
[As Casita let everyone inside, Moana was amazed of how beautiful it was on the inside.]
Moana:I like it here already.
Juancho:Lets get you some food, princess.
[Casita's floor moved Moana and the kids into the kitchen.Moana had an idea since she there was not much food in the kitchen]
Alejandra:There's nothing in the kitchen.
Cecilia:What should we do, Moana?
Moana:Hmm.I know, we'll clean the house for the Madrigals as a surprise, then maybe they'll let me stay.
[The village kids cheered until suddenly Moana's animal friends and more children came to help.]
Moana:Let's tidy up the place!
[The children cheered and began to clean up with the animals while Moana swept the floor.]
[Imagine this song playing]

[Cut to the Madrigals 3 hours later walking home]
