Abuela:The Guzmáns and the Madrigals together will be so good for the encanto.
Mrs. Guzmán:Yes. Then, let's hope tonight is not a horrible disaster.
(LAUGHTER)
ABUELA: To a perfect night! Salud!
ALL: Salud!
(INDISTINCT CHATTER)
[Mirabel and Dolores stare down at each other from across the table]
(DOLORES WHIMPERS)
(HESITATING)
[Mariano holds a bowl in front of Mirabel's face]
MARIANO: Avocado?
[Mirabel moves the the bowl aside to find Dolores whispering to her little brother Camilo who then shape-shifts until he's google eyed, which made Moana giggle a little]
Félix:Camilo. Fix your face.
ISABELA: Water?
[Camilo whispers to his father Félix who then spits his water across the table]
(CLEARS THROAT)
Abuela:Mirabel.
Mirabel:Huh?
Abuela:The cream, please?
Mirabel:Pá, the cream?
[Mirabel's father passed her the cream and Mirabel passed the bowl to Isabela to find Félix whispering to his wife Pepa with a shocked look on her face forming a Thunder cloud above her head.]
Félix:(WHISPERING INDISTINCTLY) ...Bruno's vision.
[Mirabel and Moana look at each other worried]
Abuela:Pepa, the cloud.
[Pepa strokes her hair nervously to calm herself down]
Pepa:(WHISPERING) Clear skies, clear skies, clear skies.
[Mirabel sees Pepa whispering to her mother Julieta and looks at her daughter in shock]
(WHISPERING INDISTINCTLY) Bruno's vision.
[Moana tapped Mirabel's shoulder and pointed down when cracks suddenly appeared on the floor Mirabel ducked down to get a closer look]
MARIANO: Mirabel?
[Mirabel bumps accidentally her head on the table and groaned in pain Moana kindly rubbed her head]
Mariano:Everything okay?
AGUSTÍN:(CHUCKLES) Everything is great. She's just excited.For you to propose. Which, uh, you should do!
Mirabel:Yes.
Augustín:As fast as you can.
Moana:Very fast
Mariano:Uh, I was actually gonna...
Moana:Did you hear that? He was actually gonna!
Mirabel:You were actually gonna. Great!
Mrs. Guzmán:(HESITATING) Well, since everyone here has a talent, my Mariano wanted to begin with a song!
Luisa, could you bring over the piano?
Luisa:(VOICE BREAKING) Okay.
Mirabel:(CHUCKLES NERVOUSLY)Uh, it's actually family tradition to sing after.
(MARIANO CLEARS THROAT)
Mariano:Isabela, most graceful of all the Madrigals.
[Moana and Mirabel both jumped on the floor to cover the cracks when they appeared and everyone looked at them confused]
Mariano:Um...
Mirabel:You're doing great.
Moana:Mm-hm
Mariano:The most perfect flower...
(CHITTERING)
(MIRABEL GASPS)
...in this entire encanto...
Mirabel:No!
[Luisa tries to lift the piano cries we she fails everyone glares at her pouting]
Moana:*whispers* This is getting out of control*gasp* look!
[Moana points under the table to see two little animals putting Bruno's vision back together]
Mariano:Will you marry...
Mirabel:No!
(CONTINUES SOBBING)
(SCREECHING)
Mrs. Guzmán:(SHRIEKS) What is happening?
Dolores:Mirabel found Bruno's vision. She's in it.
She's gonna destroy the magic and now, we're all doomed!
Moana:Dolores, no!
(MIRABEL GRUNTS)
(TENSE MUSIC PLAYING)
(GRUNTING)
(GASPS)
(GROANS)
(ALL CONGRATULATE IN SPANISH)
Abuela:Señora, por favor!
Moana:Mrs Madrigal!
Mirabel:Abuela, please! There's gotta be an explanation!
Isabela:I hate both of you!
Luisa:(SOBBING) I'm a loser!
Augustín:Luisa!
Pepa:What did you girls do?!
Mirabel:We're not doing anything! It's Bruno's vision! It's...
(RATS SQUEAKING)
(SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC PLAYING)
Mirabel:Huh?
Abuela:The magic is strong! Everything is fine!We are the Madrigals!(SLAMS DOOR) Mirabel!
(THUNDER RUMBLES)
[In the house Moana sat down in Mirabel's room and cried because of what Isabela had said to her.Camilo hears her crying and slowly opens the door.When he saw Moana in tears he sat next to her.]
Camilo:What's wrong Moana?Are you okay?
Moana:Isabela...
Camilo:What about Isabela?What happened?
[Moana turned her head slowly to Camilo]
Moana:*sniffles* All I wanted was to be friends with her and now she hates me.I feel like I should just die...
[Camilo heard these words and immediately hugged Moana as she hugged him back]
Camilo:No no no no no.Don't ever say that, Moana.You have a kind heart and soul.Plus, I saw what you and Mirabel did for my baby brother Antonio at his Gift ceremony that night, and it made me happier than anything.
Moana:Thank you Camilo, you're the sweetest guy I've ever met.
Camilo:And you're the most beautiful girl I've ever met,Moana.
Moana:*blushes*Oh...Thanks.
[Moana smiles at Camilo as he held her hand.The two stare at each other, they both close their eyes leaning in to kiss until Camilo's father called him]
Félix:Camilo! Come help with your mother!
(THUNDER RUMBLES)
Camilo:Uh oh.Looks like my mom needs help calming herself down again, c'mon we should probably check on her.
