Act 2 ch 11

"We got them!" Victoria yells as her and her sister meet their mother at Luke's.

"You did?" Lorelai asks excited. "Right here" Rory answers.

"Ooh well hurry up open them" Lorelai rushes her daughters. "Leave the pot Ethel" she says turning to Luke. "I'm just an enabler" Luke complains before walking away.

"Okay just remember these are the PSATs okay so it's like the baby gap, they don't count as much plus you can take them over again. Plus you are very young and have years of learning ahead of you and the important thing is that you tried very hard" Lorelai assures her daughters.

"I got a 740 verbal and a 760 math" Rory reads her paper. "I got 760 verbal and 750 math" Victoria says.

"Ah thank god you're not idiots" Lorelai sighs. "I got a 740 verbal and a 760 math?" Rory asks. "Those are damn good scores, really amazing top notch. Those are PSATrific sorry it was just laying there I had to go for it" Lorelai says.

"You're frowning" she notices.

"How did I get a higher score in math?" Rory asks. "How did I get a higher score in verbal? I was so confident on the math part" Victoria adds.

"Maybe I didn't study hard enough, maybe I got cocky" Rory over thinks. "Maybe you need a major mud bath salt glow chill pill combo, those are scores that you have earned and you deserve and will allow you both to look down on me for many years to come. We should celebrate how about we get all dressed up tonight and hit The Rocky Horror Picture Show" Lorelai says. "Are you serious?" Victoria asks.

"I'm always serious" Lorelai answers.

"Can I invite Lane?" Victoria asks. "Absolutely" Lorelai replies.

"I hope she gets this in time, she's been kind of hard to reach lately" Victoria says pulling out her phone to text Lane. "Well maybe she can't handle the pressure of having such brilliant best friends" Lorelai responds. "You're late" Luke says walking over to her.

"Oh shoot I am, I have to go. Hey the twins kicked some major PSAT ass today" Lorelai tells him.

"Yeah? Congratulations" Luke congratulates them. "Thank you" Rory says at the same time Victoria says "Thanks".

"And we're gonna hit The Rocky Horror picture show tonight" Lorelai tells Luke. "Really?" Luke asks. "Yes, and I had a thought" Lorelai answers.

"Oh yeah?" Luke asks.

"Yeah, I was thinking that you could put on some fishnet stockings a leather teddy some platform boots and go with us as doctor frank n furter" Lorelai says. "Hmm well now that is a thought" Luke responds.

"You'll also need some gloves and a wig" Lorelai tells him. "Gloves wigs got it" Luke says. "I'll do your makeup" Lorelai adds.

"That'll be a help" Luke replies.

"There you go" Lorelai says. "Okay, sounds great" Luke responds.

"Great, so 8:00 I'll swing around and get you?" Lorelai asks. "Sure, good" Luke answers. "Good" Lorelai repeats.

"Oh hey and if by chance you knock on the door but no one answers even though all the lights are on I'll just meet you there" Luke lies.

"Okay" Lorelai says. "Okay" Luke repeats her.

"So I'll see you tomorrow morning?" Lorelai asks. "Yeah I'll be the one with the coffee" Luke answers before walking away. "Hey, make sure you gloat a little. It's good for the skin" Lorelai tells her daughters.

"So do you think the porch is falling apart or do you just weigh a ton?" Rory asks her mother who's leg went through the porch.
