No one's p.o.v

It was dark by now and the group successfully reached the rooftop, While Na-yeon fell asleep in Areum's arms, feeling more safe than ever

Areum took the moment to examine the beautiful features of her girlfriend. She loved Na-yeon for who she is, the perfect looks were a bonus.

"I hope I could fly away with you.." Areum said in a low tone, not wanting to wake her up "Even if you don't want it... We don't know when will we get rescued.. Or if we do, both of us would safely remain as humans.. I wanna live each and every second I have with you in this time.. Cause I don't know if I'll be able to spend such times with you again.. "Areum let out her thoughts to the sleeping girl, without knowing that she was actually awake, listening to each and every word of hers

Areum sighed and pecked Na-yeon's forehead softly" I love you" Na-yeon secretly smiled at the sudden affection. She never imagined finding happiness in such hell.

Areum looked out the small window, and it was pretty dark. She debated if she should wake Na-yeon up or not cause this is a good time to get out of here, but in the end, she just let her sleep for sometime.

After about half an hour passed with Areum just sitting there with Na-yeon in her arms, watching her sleep peacefully. Even tho she hated to disturb her beauty sleep, they had to get to the rooftop somehow

"Lee Na-yeon, wake up, we gotta go" She said while lightly shaking Na-yeon, she slowly woke up, rubbing her eyes like a little kid "Why you still call me Lee Na-yeon?" She looked like a baby but her sleepy voice- 'im so gae' Areum thought

"uhm, because I want to?" Na-yeon pouted. Duh her duality "Just call me Na-yeon, and if not that so call me by a sweet nickname" she said before getting up and picking up a bag there, and started putting some food and drinks in it. Areum got up and hugged her from behind "Alright then, Lee Na-yeon" She earned a punch on the arm and giggled

"Ready to go?" Na-yeon nodded as she held onto Areum's hand tightly. Areum opened the door a bit to see the way was clean outside so they quietly walked out

Before they stepped outside, Areum stopped for a few seconds, Na-yeon looked at her confused "What happened?" She mumbled. Areum looked at her with adoring eyes, and softly kissed her for a moment

As she pulled away, Na-yeon seemed confused "Let's not get hurt please" Na-yeon nodded and cupped her face gently.

Areum opened the door a bit, looking out. The zombies were pretty far from the stares. Na-yeon and Areum slowly walked towards the stairs without making any noise. They successfully managed to get to the next floor but unfortunately, there was a group of zombies waiting for them.

The zombies started to chase them and they ran fast as hell. A zombie came in front of them but Areum kicked him in the face but the other zombies reached them by the time. Two zombies grabbed Na-yeon and Areum quickly shoved them away from her

"You do not touch her fuckers!" She kicked then hard, making them fall of the other zombies running their way. Areum quickly grabbed Na-yeon and ran inside the empty science lab and locked the door

She leaned on the door, panting hard "These.. Zombies are insane" She said while breathing hard, wiping her sweat. Na-yeon stood there, facing the other side.

"G-go..." Na-yeon said, making Areum look at her back confused "What?" She asked confusedly "Go.." Areum made a confused face "What do you mean go? You're coming with me"

Na-yeon turned around, and Areum's world seemed to stop at that very moment when she looked at her shoulder..

"Y-you.. got bitten..?"
