Episode 2: Chit Chat

John POV (Blyke in italic+quotations)

Today I woke up, had breakfast and jogged to school. That's probably gonna be my morning for a while now. I went inside and headed to my first class. But on the way there, I bumped into a red-haired student that was walking with a blonde-haired guy.

 "HEY!" He said. 

"Sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you, you ok?" 

"Yeah, ofc I am. don't do it again and there won't be a problem, ok?" 

"Ok, ok. What's your name?" 

"Blyke. Yours?" 

"My name is John, I'm new here! I'm a 4.2, what about you?" 

"I'm a 5.0, my ability is energy beam- what's your ability?" 

"Mine is a type of copying ability, but it's kinda hard to use at my level of mastery." 

"Hm. See you later." 

"Later! Bye!" 

"That was odd, but I met a new person- he seems ok. Maybe he could be my friend! Either way, time for class." 

*Rrrrrring!* 

"Today we will be learning about calculus." Said the teacher. 

The class let out a collective sigh. 

"Greaaaaat. More calculus." 

"Whyyyy meeeeeeeeeeeeee???" 

Sera POV  (Blyke in italic+quotations, John in bold+quotations) +1h timeskip

*Rrrrrrrring!*

"Phew! Class is over. Lunchtime!" 

I walked over to the lunch line, grabbed my lunch, and started heading up to the roof. 

While walking up the stairs, I saw John and Blyke talking. 

"John!" I shouted. 

He looked at me with a look that said "Hold on, bts." 

Then Blyke looked over at me and said "Hey Sera...phina! How ya doin?" 

"Did you just call me Sera?" 

"N-n-no?" 

"JOHN! DID YOU TELL HIM ABOU-" 

"SORRY! I told him to not say it, I was just telling him that I met you and all!" 

"Blyke, I didn't give you permission to call me that- so please don't. If you ask why, remember I'm the most powerful at this school." 

"Understood Seraphina!" Blyke then quickly ran off. 

John, holding his lunch tray walked toward me. 

"Stop. What did you tell him and why? 

We were just studying yesterday." 

"What? I thought we were friends! We did watch a movie. That's exactly what I told him."

 "Good." 

"Wanna go eat lunch on the roof?" 

"After that? N- well, ok, fine." 

"That's what I thought." 

John POV (Sera in italic+quotations)

"So Sera, how was your day so far?" 

"Ya mean other than you telling Blyke my nickame? Great." 

"Sorry! I didn't think he would use it!" 

"So you just wanted BLYKE to keep a secret?" 

"Uhhh yeah? What's wrong with that?" 

"Oh. I didn't tell you he is on the press team and to NEVER ask him to keep a secret?" 

"Oh. You didn't tell me that, I guess it's on both of us then :P" 

"Did you literally just say "Colon P" in real life while making that face?" 

":D yep." 

"Oy. Anyway, we should finish the project today. Library after school?" 

"Why not my house? Not like we need to use books, the internet exists." Sera sighs. 

"Yeah, I guess you have a point. See you after school, k?" 

"Sounds good to me, see ya then!"
