do you ever look at someone,
& just want to cry?
because they're the ones you couldn't imagine leaving your life,
but then they left without a trace,
leaving you wondering why,
and for whatever reason,
even though they left you stranded with your own mind
you still know deep inside your soul,
that you want that closeness you had back.
but not to them,
to yourself.
for them leaving made you unrecognizable
to the one person who's supposed to know you best.
losing.
