"Baba?" Momal went to her dad and called him.

"Yes." Ayaan turned his attention to her.

"Did Guard Uncle harass me?" Silence. There was total silence in the living room. Ayaan tried to reply but he couldn't form any words. The people who weren't aware of the scene were shocked to hear this.

"WHO HARRASSED MY BEST FRIEND? MAIN USKO NI CHORUGA I AM A BIG BOY NOW." Ali's shout broke the silence.

(...I won't spare him...)

"No. No one harassed my girl. He was just a friend now he's not. But if anyone touches you now, you'll tell me. Ok?" Ayaan picked her up and made her sit beside him.

Hassan looked around but his wife was not looking at him now. He frowned. She had been looking at him all the time. He knew this. He was aware of her gaze on him but was ignoring and now when she was not staring at him, he didn't like it.

(You didn't tell Ali it is not good to get angry on your wife and scold her?)

"Nahi. Wife ghalt ho to daant bhi saktay hain aur ghussa bhi ajata hai." He glanced at her.

(No. It is okay to scold the wife when she's wrong and a person may become angry too.)

"But wife sorry boly to maaf b to kr skty hain."

(But if wife says then you can forgive her too.)

"Har ghalti k lye sorry nai bola jata. Agar sorry bol kr phr wohi ghalti krni hai to kia faida? Sorry ka matlab hai ainda khyal rkha  jayega. Sorry ka mtlb hai to amend the mistakes you've made. It's not just a word. Actions are important too."

(You can't say sorry for every mistake. What's the point of sorry if you're going to make the same mistake again? Sorry means to be careful next time. Sorry means to...)

He said and moved away from the lawn. Raima looked around and then shook her head. She was tired.

"Dr Hoor—"

"Yar tm na mjyy mis call mar dya kro, main samajh jaungi tumhary Dr Ahil ne Bulaya hai mujhay. Had hogyi na mtlb. Abhi main akar bethi nhi hoti dr sahab ka dobara bulawa ajata hai." Hoor was walking to a room when the receptionist stopped her.

(You just give me a miscall and I'll understand your Dr Ahil is calling me. I mean there's a limit. I haven't even sit after coming that this Dr calls me again.)

"No Dr Hoor, this time Dr Wajid is calling you."

Hoor grimaced.

"Inse toh behtar tha Dr Ahil hi bula lety, right?" The receptionist said, smiling and Hoor looked at her. Then both of them burst into laughter. Dr Wajid was really grumpy & mannerless with them.
