No Escape

Chapter 27: SPS is Back in Action

I get out of Mays car on this Tuesday morning and walk into the school building, already wanting to go home. I do like school but my head is killing me. I currently have a small sensory overload and what I mean by small is that things are loud but not a thousand times loud. Like this is one of the least worst sensory overloads I've ever gotten.

I walk over to my locker to be greeted by everyone and I mean everyone. Ned, Mj, Sally, Charles, Eliza, Cindy, Abe, Betty and Flash all at my locker.

"Uhhh hi?" I greet them, a bit confused.

"We're sorry about the uhhh Saturday. I'm just glad everyone's ok" Eliza apologizes. "Do you know where they moved to?"

"Oh umm it's ok and no I don't. I'm not that close with them so they didn't tell me though I'm pretty sure it would be somewhere safe" I assure.

Without warning, Ned hugs me so I hug him back not needing an explanation.

"I'm ok, don't worry" I whisper for only him to hear.

"I don't need to loose my star wars lego buddy" Ned whispers back before letting go of the hug.

"Oh! We don't have decathlon today or the rest of the week! Turns out there isn't any further competitions due to summer!" Cindy informs.

"That's great!" I reply.

"Hey, go on without me" I tell everyone as we were all walking to our different elective classes.

They look at me confused but go ahead anyways.

I start to walk the opposite way, guiding me to what my hearing is picking up when I turn the corner just to hide back behind it.

I peek my head around the corner to see Ms. Savoz talking on the phone. Why was my senses warning me?

"I know! We have it all planned! Don't worry, you'll get your vengeance...I don't care if you want us to or not! Your daughter and wife will be happy that someone is at least avenging you.......he's just some stupid child! I don't get why you care so much! You tried to kill him first!......WHAT SO YOU CAN ROT IN JAIL?! I don't have time for this, I'm at work. Your niece will end him soon" Ms. Savoz ends the conversation and puts her phone away.

With that, I quickly get out of there and head to second period with many thoughts scrambling all over my head.

Who was she talking to? Someone in jail? Who is 'he?' Is he me? People have tried to kill me and I did send a few people to jail so it makes sense...but niece? Who's this niece trying to kill me?

My thoughts continue on as I was walking to engineer and it was still continuing as I sat down in my seat, next to  Ned.

Mr. Waqok started speaking just as the bell rang. I tried to pay attention but I got drifted away once again in my own thoughts.

Who is trying to kill who? Who's just a stupid little boy? Who tried to kill 'him' first? Who is this niece that'll end him? What do they have planned? Murder? Who is the person on the phones wife and daughter? Why doesn't the person on the phone wants to be avenge? Does he feel pity for the boy they were talking about? 

I need to figure this all out. I need to stop it so whoever 'him' is doesn't get hurt. Like what if he's an innocent civilian? He can't get hurt for no reason! But it seemed like he was the one who put the dude in jail but why and how? Is 'him' a cop? Wait...no that wouldn't make sense. Ms. Salvoz said he was a child. What is going on?
