I want to dream
of all our favorite things
we used to do,
but I still live in a nightmare.
I always wake up hopeful,
but you're never there
reality shatter me,
wake me from this bitter dream.

I've fallen so far down
the hole of desperation-
if I tried a little harder
could I reach salvation?
I didn't want to be like this,
but I can't pick and choose,
I'll close my eyes for one last time-
what have I got to lose?
