Heyooooooooo

Enjoy~

(y/n)'s POV

"Hey wait up!" Kirishima called to me. I glanced behind me as I stopped walking down the hall. He jogged up next to me, offering up a smile. I returned the expression. "Hey...I just wanted to talk about last night at Mina's."

"Yeah?"

"Sorry I didn't say more," he said, tugging at his neck. "I'm...not the best at talking."

"Neither am I," I said. "Bakugo isn't either. Mina does most of the talking for me."

"Right," he replied, his shoulder's gently shrugging with awkwardness. "Sometimes I just can't formulate the actual words...Bakugo is just a stubborn ass sometimes about sharing."

I let out a soft, breathy chuckle.

"That's okay. I didn't expect you to say anything," I replied.

"Uhm...I just wanted to let you know that...we were going to come for you soon. You escaped quicker than we could act I guess," he said, glancing aside. "As soon as we realized, we were ready to go."

"I know...thank you," I replied.

"And! Uhm," he thought over what he was going to say next. "I don't want you to feel scared or threatened, you know? So, I wanted to let you and Kutsu know that I'll protect you so he doesn't have to." I felt my face warm up and I placed a soft hand on my stomach.

"Thank you Kirishima," I said, moving both my hands to grip my backpack.

"You don't have to thank me, just doing what I think is right," he said. "But you're welcome anways. You...want to sit with me at lunch today?"

"Oh, sure!" I agreed, seeing him start to walk in the direction I was headed: the cafeteria. We made our way there together and he led me to the table hosting the Bakusquad. I sat down with him, Bakugo moving his legs so I could sit.

"Good, you're here. I need your opinions," Kaminari said. "Whole class slumber party?"

"No one is going to play your shitty party games," Bakugo scoffed.

"You already gave your opinion Kacchan," Kaminari mocked, "I didn't need to hear it twice."

"Fucker," Bakugo hissed.

"I'm sure you could get people on board," Kirishima assured and I nodded. I listened to the idle chatter of everyone at the table, pushing my food around. I wasn't all too hungry today and I wondered if I was coming down with a stomach bug--as ridiculous as that was to say. I had plently of bugs. I felt Bakugo's knee purposefully smack against mine and I glanced his way. He glared at me, nodding his head towards my food. At first, I thought he wanted to eat it, but as he turned away eating his own food, I figured he wanted me to eat my own. I sighed, placing some in my mouth. He was probably right.

After lunch and class, I found a nice spot in the courtyard to stretch. Recovery Girl had advised me to begin a more intensive stretching regimen to ensure that my body was functioning the best it could. It was obvious that I tended to get stiff with how many stitches were along my body. It hurt like a bitch, but I did it anyways knowing I needed it.

I bent over, letting out a breath as I tried to touch my toes. I eventually focused in on stretching all the way to the side. I felt my muscles elongate, the still relatively new stitches on my side stretching as well. I felt my eyes water slightly, pushing through the discomfort before relaxing slightly and stretching again. It was easier the second time, once I got past that threshold.

I glanced over to see the bottom half of Bakugo jogging past. He was clearly running the perimeter of the school as a form of training, but he looked rather beaten down already. He must have been training his quirk earlier. I was surprised I had not heard him. I stood up, bringing my feet in from their wide stance as he slowed near me.
