A part of me is broken
Another whole
Yet I feel wholly shattered
You cry out when fate leads us apart
So now you sail away to ensure our demise
I had the chance to take to the seas
A once of a lifetime opportunity to seize
Yet I cast it aside
For feelings I could no longer hide
I suffered then and the torture continued
You were the hook that kept me dangling
You also kept my head above water
I cannot ask you to stay and suffer
I shouldn't need to beg you to stay
You of all people know my heart
I guess if you are to run
I should give you a head start
