I sighed at the bus stop, fumbling with the Rubik's Cube in my hands. This was unbelievable! I'd spent all of my past summers at home, blasting the AC during the day and taking long baths at night. There was absolutely no reason for my parents to surprise me with a fucking summer camp for me to "get more social". I knew enough people that mattered! Plus, when would I ever need to survive out in the wild? This entire thing was fucking stupid. He didn't even get to have his phone on him! Either way, they probably would've taken it at the camp.

It had taken me 10 minutes to walk down (yes, walk) from my house to the bus stop. Every time a car passed, I felt embarrassed. The bus wasn't even running on time. Was this how it was for... everyone else?

When the bus finally (finally) arrived, I hopped on and sat at the very front. I wanted to be the first one to leave. The quicker I did, the quicker things would go for me at the camp.

I hadn't even gotten out of Seoul to the camping site, but I already wanted to get off. I was even willing to walk back home.

I'd have to get over it.
