The hike had me absolutely tired. Well, maybe it wasn't just that, but I had also stayed up the previous night talking to Jaeseok. If there was any reason for him to be tired, that would be it.
Usually, the regimen that we were meant to follow was eat, wash up, and sleep. I only wanted to eat and sleep at that point, even if I had constantly been yelling at Yonghee for leaving his socks hanging over the bed.
By the time I was tucked into bed and on the verge of sleep, Yonghee and Hyunsuk barged into our cabin. Chrysanthemum, as we were called.
Yonghee scoffed upon seeing me. "You're such a goody-two shoes."
"You're the only person I know who's actually asleep at curfew." Hyunsuk agreed.
I couldn't stop myself from rolling my eyes. "I try to be, but your loud asses are always yelling in the middle of the night."Hopefully the answer would stop them from questioning me further.
Yonghee scoffed. "We are not! You're literally an angel, Jinyoung. I don't know how you do it."
An angel? That was really new. "Neither do I," I muttered to myself, rolling over. Everyone thought I was perfect again. But it didn't feel right. Isn't that what I always wanted?
It was like a trap.
