8-The exchange event

- Few days later - around 9:00 -

(Y/n) POV

It's the day of the Exchange event.

Yuuji was really excited to see our classmates, and as soon as I met with him in the morning he was already dragging me to see Gojou-sensei and Nanami.

"Yuuji, are you planning on just showing up like normal?" Gojou-sensei asked him. I kinda agreed, but the way he asked it, I knew he had something in mind.

"Huh? I can't?"

"You've been 'dead' for two whole months." I answered my best friend.

Gojou explained how it's unusual even among sorcerers to come back 2 months after their death and we had to make it a surprise. Well, they had to, I'm not gonna help.

Gojou-sensei explained something about this helping global warming... I mean sure if he says so... That was when I had to leave and meet up with the others.

"Why are you all empty-handed?" Kugisaki asked with luggage with her. "What are you doing with all that luggage?" Panda asked. Turns out, Kugisaki thought we were going to Kyoto for the exchange event.

The Kyoto school students finally arrived. They had guts, to say the least. Definitely not a fan of us, just wanting to win.

After an exchange of views, the Kyoto school leader, Iori Utahime silenced them and asked about the whereabouts of an 'idiot', who I assume was Gojou-sensei. He was late as always.

He finally arrived bringing some souvenirs, and handed them out. "But Yuuji? Where is he? Don't tell me he's inside that box..." I thought to myself.

"And for everyone from Tokyo, we have this!" Gojou-senseisaid, pointing at the box. "Overly excited adults are creepy" Kugisaki said, as yuuji popped out of the box.

"Hey! OPP!" Yuuji said excitedly as he was in a weird position, popping out of that box. "Your long departed friend Yuuji Itadori!" Gojou-sensei said.

How did he even fit in there? I facepalmed in embarrassment. I also heard Sukuna's thoughts. He was just... Sukuna.

The others were... surprised, to say the least and realised I knew about him being alive. Kugisaki was mad. Understandable. I'd be mad aswell.

We had 1 more hour to prepare for the event, after telling us the first day's event - Group battle. Kugisaki made Yuuji hold up a black frame in front of his face. That is a bit too far.

After a small talk about the second years and introducing them to Yuuji, we made up our plan. Yuuji would stay back and fight Todo, and I'd mostly focus on exorcising curses.

2nd person POV

Right before getting started Fushiguro went up to Itadori and you asking wether something happened. "Well, a few stuff happened. But we're OK." You answered.

After a while, it finally started. You once again talked through the plan, separating into 3 groups, Yuuji being one of the groups himself.

It didn't take long to find a curse, which was attacked by none other than Todo. Yuuji didn't take long to lunge at him, as we also  separated into groups. But something was off.

After a while, you turned back. The others reluctantly agreed, and when you were in a distance where you could hear them, you heard Todou say: "Seems like we're best friends." Oh, now Yuuji will be in trouble once the event is over.
