I had a bottle of blue (probably radioactive) bubblegum flavored pop, a box of strawberry Pocky, two sticks of pink rock candy, an entire container of hot chocolate flavored cotton candy, peach flavored Pororo drink, and three sticks of watermelon honey (all in one sitting), so get ready for some weird shit I wrote on a sugar-high.

"I wish there was a different place to get pizza from Nockfell," Sally Face mutters, mostly to himself.

"Is it gonna end up like last time if I ask why, sir?"

"No," he chuckles. "I just don't like the way that delivery guy looked at us."

"What do you mean, sir?" I ask.

"I don't know. Like he was weirded out, and not because of my mask. He's seen me plenty of times, but not with you."

"Maybe he thinks you're older than you are and I'm younger than I am," I reach for another piece. "You have a really deep voice, and I don't think me laughing while being carried compares to it well. Plus he can't tell how old you are by your face, sir."

"Maybe."

"Oh my Gods, how have you already eaten three slices?" I laugh suddenly.

Sal shrugs and takes a fourth. Damn. Capacity goals, I guess. I finish my second and catch myself about to lean on his shoulder. I could ask, but I'm 92% sure it's going to be a 'no.' I sigh and extend my legs to readjust my socks.

"You can lean on me," Sal says. Wow, am I that easy to read?

"I wanna go back to sleep, sir," I whine and rest my chin on his shoulder, peering up at him.

"You don't want more food? You only had two slices, love," Sally Face ignores me.

"No thank you, sir."

"Alright. You can go back to sleep or go grocery shopping with me," he says.

"That's a tough decision, I should sleep on it. I'll let you know what I think after a nap, sir."

"No, make it now, please," he chuckles and kisses the top of my head.

"I'll go shopping with you, sir," I yawn.

"Okay, I have to ask my dad for the list, but he's at work so it might take a little while."

"I'm gonna go to my apartment then," I mumble. "Kiss?"

"No," he says, pecking my cheek as if to taunt me.

I huff and walk into his room to get my garter before pulling on my shoes and leaving. So rude. I get ready quickly and put on the necklace he got me, a pair of white shorts and thigh-highs, and a light blue hoodie that pretty much makes my shorts invisible. I put on the first pair of light blue shoes I see, which happen to be Converse that I put silver spikes on the top of.

I grab my phone, key, and some money before leaving and locking the door behind me. I text my mom that I'm going shopping with Sal while I walk to his apartment. As I'm about to knock on his door, he opens it.

"Hey, nice shoes," he smiles and takes my hand.

"Thank you, sir."

The car ride is boring, but short. I'm really annoyed that I can't just tug on his sleeve and point at whatever I want to see, and that I actually have to talk. It's very inconvenient, not that Sally Face cares. He holds my hand for the short walk to the building entrance.

"Turns out he only needed like four things, so this should be quick," Sal assures me. "And you don't have to use titles in public."

I nod and rock back and forth on my heels while he pulls out his phone to look at the list.
