17Apr2021 As I mentioned in one of my previous posts my hubby went to the Asian store today. He found this there and thought it was 'Balut' so he bought it. When he got home with his friend, he happily showed this to me and said he found 'Balut' at the store. I admit I was so happy but got dismayed when I found his discovery. 🤣 This isn't 'Balut' and it's my first time to see this.
It has a disgusting odor as my hubby said. 😁 It isn't bad though. He mentioned that what he doesn't like to eat, I might like it. Haha! I think I have a very weird palate. 😅 I love weird things. I know I'm weird so don't give me that look! Ahahaha!
So back to these Preserved Duck Eggs, it does have a weird smell but it isn't bad for me. My hubby's friend was eager to try it at first but changed his mind when he smelled it while I was eating. 😂 So, I ate it alone. Haha! I ate it with salt and it helped improve the taste. I must say that it has a very strong aftertaste. There are still 5 eggs left and I'm certain I will finish it alone.
I'm thinking to make a short vlog about it. Or I might not. 😆
