I am zoologist and adventurer, Nigel Marven.

For years I've criss crossed the globe in search of the most dangerous animals alive today.

But just imagine a prehistoric safari.

I drove my jeep through the plains as I saw groups of hadrosaurs browsing from the trees while groups of ornithomimids ran past the cameraman and I. Soon I parked around a small creek. On this adventure I would be searching for some ceratopsians, the well known group which includes dinosaurs like Triceratops.

"I am here in what is now Alberta, Canada." I said to the cameraman. "My mission here is to look for a specific dinosaur group. The ceratopsians."

Ceratopsians are one of the more successful dinosaur groups around. Some of the earliest members were around since the Late Jurassic and they'll be here until the extinction of the dinosaurs.

"On my last adventure in Early Cretaceous China, I saw one of these ceratopsian dinosaurs. Smaller ceratopsians are still around but the one I'm looking for is one of the larger ones." I said as I pulled out a picture of a dinosaur with an oddly shaped skull. "This is Pachyrhinosaurus, the Thick nosed lizard."
