You watch Medic as he runs frantially around.

"What's wrong, Medic?" You ask.

"I can't find Archimedes!" He calls from another room.

"Did you look in your lab?" You wonder. He pokes his head around the corner to look at you.

"Of course I did!" He snaps.

"Sorry," You quip.

"I'm sorry." He sighs. "But I'm just so worried."

"I understand." You tell him.

Medic once again disappears around the corner. "You can help me look if you're not busy!" He hollers.

"Alright!"

After about an hour of nonstop searching and double-checking every place in the entire base, you still haven't found the doctor's beloved dove. He's already given up, but you're still looking. You're in his lab, looking in everything. So far, there's been nothing but medical tools. You open drawer after drawer, but find nothing. Now you have to check Medic's desk. You open the top one. Nothing. You come to the right-hand one. Nope. You look in the one below it and, lo and behold! Nothing. You then open the bottom left one, and there, sleeping, is Archimedes. "Archimedes, you silly bird!" You scold gently, picking the fluffy figure up in your hands and waking him. He coos, and you smile. "Let's get you back to Medic." You begin walking out of the lab, and call, "Medic! I found Archimedes!"

"Really?" You hear him say from the other room. You look down at the bird when you walk, so you don't realize it when Medic is standing right in front of you. You run into him and almost trip, but he catches you. You look at him.

Your eyes meet. It's as if you've never known him like this before. His eyes are almost hypnotic, drawing you silently closer. Your cheeks begin to burn like fire, and his turn as red as his gloves. He helps you regain your footing. "Um... thanks. Here." You hand him Archimedes while keeping your eyes on the ground.

"Danke," He says, almost sounding wistful. You quickly walk away, embarassed. He watches you go- you can feel those sapphire eyes digging into your back, telling you to come back. You ignore them and keep walking.
