~ADAM POV~

Coach, Don, the Ducks and I were all waiting for the new players to arrive. I looked up and saw 5 boys and one girl.

"Tell me about my new kids." Coach said.

"That's Luis Mendoza." Tibbles said pointing to a tanned boy. "He's from our Miami Club. A real speedster. I clocked him as 1.9 seconds blue line to blue line."

"Good looking skater." Connie said.

Guy's smile dropped as he looked at the boy.

"Very good looking." Natalia said teasingly.

"What do you think Guy?" Averman added.

"Shut up Averman." He said elbowing him in the gut.

"Just one minor problem." Tibbles said.

We watched as Luis flew into the wall.

"He has a little trouble stopping."

"I'll say so." Goldberg said.

The new kids skated up to making sure he was okay.

"I almost had it that time." He said.

"Yee-Haw! How is everyone? You ready to play some puck?" The cowboy asked, throwing his hat aside.

"Hey look its Hop-Along-Gretzky." Jesse laughed.

We laughed along as cowboy took the puck.

"That's Dwayne Robertson from Austin, Texas. Best puck handler I've ever seen."

"You mean for his age." Coach asked.

"No I don't." Tibbles said.

We watched as Dwayne showed off.

"There's Julie "The Cat" Gaffney." He pointed towards the girl at the goal. "She's won the state championship for Main three years in a row."

"We have a goalie. Goldberg."

We all turned to see Goldberg doing to splits. Kinsler laughed and helped him up.

"Watch this."

Connie, Guy, Averman and Charlie all shot but she blocked every one.

"Well, we could use a back up."

"Is Goldberg our back up?" Natalia asked innocently.

Goldberg looked offended as we laughed. Coach and Don smiled finding it amusing.

"Who's he?" Coach asked.

"That's Andrew Gaffney, he and Julie are twins."

"Now we have two sets of twins." Coach smiled.

"Andrew is like an invisible thief on the ice." Don said. "He could steal the puck from anyone. Even Dwayne."

"Okay," Coach said. "Natalia, go out there."

"What? Why me Coach?"

"You're the best puck handler on the team. Let's see if Andrew's really that good."

Natalia smirked and skated out. Coach dropped the puck in the middle and Natalia took the puck and skated off. Andrew followed and I watched as Natalia faked Andrew out, before stopping in front of the goal.

She went to shoot, but fanned. Just like Charlie used, she fell on her face. We all looked over and saw Andrew copying Dwayne's early move, bouncing the puck on his stick. Natalia growled under her breath as she glared at the boy.

"He's good." Averman said as Natalia skated over.

Natalia shoved into Averman, knocking him over.

"Isn't that the kid from the Olympics? The figure Skater?" Bombay questioned, as Andrew skated over to Julie.

"Yep. Ken Wu. What can I say? I convinced him Hockey was more of a future we put a stick in his hands, no body has been able to touch him."

"Kind of like Natalia."

We saw a guy--who looked bigger then Fulton--put headphones on and skate out.

"Showtime! Don't you know everything's on fire." He sung.

"That guys a teenager?" Coach asked.

He shoved through Charlie, Natalia and I knocking Charlie and I  down in the process.

"Hormones." Don said.

"He's a goon!" Coach exclaimed.

He knocked Averman over and wrapped his arm around Dwayne.

"Come on Tex, sing with me!" He shouted.

Dwayne shook his head rapidly. He skated by knock people over as he went.

"Here you go sweetie." He said, tossing the stick to Julie.

He then picked up Kenny and put him on top of the net.

"My kids don't play that kind of hockey."

"I believe they're called enforcer's Gordon. And when you play Iceland your going to need him."

"Who does this guy think he is?" Fulton asked.

"Alright that's it." Goldberg said.

We all started arguing. I was right beside Natalia as she argued with Andrew.

"You just got lucky!" She exclaimed.

"You're just angry because I embarrassed you."

They continued bickering as I stood bickering with Dwayne. A shrill whistle sounded and we stopped.

"EVERYBODY FREEZE!" Coach shouted.

"Now we didn't come here to fight. We came here to play Hockey. We're Team USA. You represent your country."

"That's right!" Tibbles interrupted.

"You need to--"

"Be all that you can be, right? You need to raise yourself up you gotta--" Don cut in.

We all laughed as Bombay glared at Don.

"Alright lets start with a scrimmage." Coach said.

Tibbles blew the whistle around his neck as coach glared at him again.

"You don't need me here." Don said. "I've got to see Ms. McKay. She's the team tutor."

He began to leave when coach called him back.

"Don." He held out his hand as Don took off his whistle. "You'll get it back at the end of the school term."

We all laughed again as Don walked out.
