Ben x Reader: Don't Leave - Part 1

I look at the note on my desk from Nelson asking for me to meet with him. I smile thinking it was him going to promote me after how much work I had been putting into the serum. I sit down at my desk and look through my calendar to make sure I had nothing that was going to overlap my meeting with Nelson. Luckily nothing was.

I knock on my door causes me to look up towards the door. I smile seeing my boyfriend, Ben but my smile sook vanished seeing his worried face.

"Ben are you okay?" I ask.

"We need to leave" Ben says to me.

"What do you mean leave? I have a really important meeting today" I say looking at him confused.

"With Nelsom correct?" Ben asks. I nod still confused. "That's why we need to leave"

"Im confused. Why would we leave because I have a meeting with Nelson?"

"Please. I'll explain later" Ben pleads.

I bit my lip nodding reluctantly agreeing with me. I trusted Ben with my life so if he says we needed to leave then something bad was about to happen. I grab my coat before grabbing Ben's hand. Ben practically drags me out of my office and out of Syntec. I was brought to a car which already has Wesley and Deborah sitting in it. If this involved them, then this was serious.

I state quite the whole drive. Deb, Wesley, and Ben looked at me off and on through the drive wondering if I was going to say anything. I honestly didn't know what to say about the situation. That was until we pulled up at a friend's house that was an hour away from Syntec.

"Why are we here?" I ask as we all climbed out of the car.

My friend Carrie steps out of the house and runs to me. "Is she okay?" Carrie asks hugging me tightly.

"Am i okay? Yes I'm okay. Will someone tell me what's going on?" I ask pulling away from the hug.

Ben looks at me upsetly. "Baby you have to stay with Carrie for a while."

"What why?" I ask quickly.

"You're meeting today with Nelson was for him to force you into being an experiment" Ben explains. "I overheard him talking and knew I had to get you out of there. You are gonna stay with Carrie and when it's safe, I will come get you"

"What? No!" I say tears starting to fill my eyes. "You're not leaving me here"

"Y/N we have no choice" Ben says.

"Yes we do Ben! We can run away. You and I!" I say reaching for him. Ben steps back from me knowing if ao touched him he would break. "Ben please don't leave me here."

"I can't Y/N I can't leave Deb and Wes to fight off Nelson on their own" Ben says.

I started to sob. Tears spilled down my face. "Please don't do this. There has to be something else we can do."

"There's nothing we can do. This plan was put in place for your safety. It was created the day you and I started dating" Ben explains.

"How is it easy for you? To just drop me off and leave me behind" I asked. I was angry and upset.

"Do you think this is easy for me?" Ben asks. Angry tears spills down his face. "Do you think I want to leave you here? I have no choice. It's either I leave you here or Nelson finds you and tears you into an experiment"

"Benjamin" Wesley says. "We need to get going"

"No!" I scream. "Don't leave me here" I through my arms around Ben tightly. "Please Benny. Don't leave me here"

"I love you okay. Don't forget that" Ben says hugging me. I feel he glasp something around my neck. "Don't ever take this off. You hear me."

My friend grabs my arm and pulls me from Ben. She had a bag of clothes in her hand. I scream and fight with her as she holds me back. I watched as Ben looked at me once more before getting in the car with Wes and Deb. He looks at me once more before they leave.

I managed to get my friend to let go of me as I chased the car down the driveway. I only got to the end of the driveway before I dropped to my knees watching them drive away. I press my hands to my face as I sobbed into them. My friend slowly walks up behind me. She kneels down next to me a pulls me into a tight hug.

"He will be back for you. I promise. I can't tell you when but he will. He loves you so much" Carrie whispers to me.

I turn and hug her tightly. She held me for a long while before she picked me up off the ground. She led me into her home and to my new room. I dug through the bag of clothes my friend was given pulling out a note that was inside it.

I left you my favorite sweatshirt and a few of my shirts. The cologne I wear is in there as well. I know this is hard for you, its hard for me as well. I'm only doing this to keep you safe. The necklace I gave you has a tracker in it. Please never take it off. I love you so much. See you soon. ~Benny.

I start to cry after reading the note. I slide on Ben's sweatshirt and crawl onto the bed. With the note pressed to my chest, I cried until sleep took over.
