Lani's POV
I grabbed Y/n/n's hand and we ran back to the dressing room.
We were smiling and laughing when we got in there.
"You were so good out there, baby." I said to her.
"You did too, we both did. I wanna do it over again."
"Do you think anyone really left yet?"
"Probably not, you know how long it take to get in and out of places like these."
"You wanna go check?"
"Yeah, and what do we do if it's still people there?"
"We could fuck around and do a duet."
"Which song though?"
"What didn't we perform tonight?"
"Oouu, I know. I don't know how you'll feel about though."
"Tell me."
"Maybe we could do 'Get Away' only if you're down for it though."
"That ain't bad at all."
"I never have a bad idea."
"Do I switch up the lyrics, cause you know?"
"You don't have to if you don't want to. I think it's fine the way it is though."
"Okay, cause if you're saying that then I'll keep it the same."
"Let's go check." We got up and ran out of the dressing room. We ran to the stage and saw many people were still there.
She grabbed mics for us and handed me one.
She went to the center.
"Wait, if there's anyone who has some extra time, this will take about...5 minutes, we'd like to sing one last song for you, very quickly."
Some people kept moving, I don't blame them. It was late, and some people got school tomorrow. The ones that stayed sat down in the nearest seat next to them and waited for us.
"I'll be right back." She said to me.
"Where are you going?"
"I gotta tell Ty to play that shit, it won't take long."
"Ight." Ty was the one, along with some other people, who controlled the music while we performed. He would tell me which songs were next on the set list through my in-ear and I'd say something leading up to the song.
He's been with me since I dropped SweetSexySavage, he stuck beside me ever since.
A minute later, Y/n/n came back and said that we were good to go.
"Okay, y'all. If you an OG fan of mine, you might know this song. If you new too, you might. This tae just came out on streaming services." Everyone there started to cheer.
"So this song goes a little something like..." I looked at Y/n/n to let her know that she could be the one to start the song off.
The beat starter playing and everyone clapped.
We finished the song and went back to the dressing room.
"I wanna start doing that more often, that was fun."
"Hopefully we don't get in trouble."
"I don't think we will. If we do though, I'll just say it was..."
"The heat of the moment."
"You're corny." We both started laughing. She laid her head on my chest and I put my arm around her.
