i mean, sure, some horror movies go off on their own trail,
but they still follow those acts, however generalized it may get.
the stab movies, and the real killers? they've always followed it to

" these killers are always the least expected, and there's always
more than one. the only time that didn't happen was in stab 3, where
roman was revealed to be the mastermind behind even billy and stu's
own killings. but that's besides the point. everybody is a suspect, whether
they have a proven alibi for every single second of their days, or whether
they look like they'd kill somebody. everybody is a suspect, you can
never trust anybody. and you can't trust anybody to stay alive, either. "

" with everything that's happened so far, i think it's safe to guess
that we're only in act one, but that curtain is about to close, and the
stakes are gonna raise. but that's with a normal horror movie, with the
type of horror movie that usually only has one movie. this is a franchise.
this is the fifth movie in a franchise, and i guess, with what mindy and i
were talking about earlier, the killer is making their own movie because
they want to prove that the stab movies still have potential. as much as i'd
love to sit here and share the rules, nobody really has determined the rules of requels.
as far as we're concerned: anything can happen in a requel. "
