The next two days go by in a blur, always shadowed with the worry about my mom.
She didn't call yesterday either and I'm scared something happened to her.
It's hard to not let this thought swirl around my head all the time and let it consume me. The news said nothing new about Ultron or the Avengers and I laid awake until 2 am last night, trying to calm myself.

Tonight's news also have no new information about the Avengers.
I try to distract myself with some schoolwork as my phone suddenly starts ringing.
I garb it instantly and take the call, not looking at the number.
"Yes?" My breath is a little shallow as I wait for an answer.
"Hey, malyschka."
"Mama!" My voice cracks a little and a wave of relief washes over me and makes my eyes watery.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't call sooner. It was just...a lot and I didn't have the time to call."
"I was so worried about you." I whisper because I'm scared that if I talk louder, she will hear the relieved sobbing.
"I know but I'm okay, I promise."

I stay silent, fighting my tears and taking in the new information.
"Is everything alright, moya lyubov?"
"I was so scared to lose you."
"You will never lose me. I promised you I will come back and I will. Don't worry about it, malyschka. And now take a deep breath, okay?"
I do as told and feel myself calming down a little.

"I saw the news..." My voice is quiet but I know she heard me, waiting for me to continue.
"They talked about Ultron and showed pictures of the city he kind of destroyed. I know you're fighting against him."
My mom stays quiet for a few seconds. "How?"
"I overheard you and the others in the kitchen. Who is he, mama?"
She lets out a breath and I can almost see her face in front of me, debating if she should tell me.

"He's a robot, in some way. I know it looks and sounds bad but we have a plan and everything under control."
"Like the ones at the tower, after the party?"
"Kind of but don't worry, we are safe and we'll take care of him, without getting hurt."
I nod slowly, not sure what to think about this.
I try not to remember that one night at the tower because it still scares me and take a few deep breaths.

"You promise?"
"I promise, malyschka...I have to go now but I'll call you as soon as possible."
"Okay, be careful, mom."
"I will. Don't worry about me, I will come home soon. I love you."
"I love you too."
We hang up and I look at my phone with mixed emotions.
I'm relieved she's healthy but I'm also worried because of that Ultron thing.

In an attempt to distract myself, I concentrate on my schoolwork again and am caught up pretty fast, not thinking about the danger my mom is in anymore.

The next day is pretty calm, I feel less anxious and try the bow from uncle Clint for the first time. He has a target pinned to a tree and Cooper explains me, what Clint said about shooting.
I concentrate and line up, holding up my arrow.
I focus on the target and let the arrow fly. It shoots straight into the grass, a few meters behind the tree. Well, I didn't expect anything else.

Clint talked to me about archery before and I showed interest. He shot a few arrows with me. I only hit the target once but it was fun and after that he bought me a bow.
Now I'm training with it for the first time so I didn't really think I would hit the round sign.
I pull out another arrow from my quiver and try again.

I spend the rest of the day training, occasionally being watched by Copper or Lila.
At the end of the day I hit a few times and feel exhausted.
After a quick shower I join Laura on the sofa to watch the news.
The reporter starts talking about a city called Sokovia. As the term 'Avengers' is mentioned, my attention snaps back to the screen.
They show a city in pure panic and chaos and a second later we see why: the city seems to be floating upwards.
I blink a few times to be sure that my eyes aren't playing a trick on me but no.

The next shot makes me gasp and gives me a flashback. There are those robots again. The same as in the tower.
Suddenly a red swirl breaks one apart and the camera, probably a phone, moves to the right and shows a girl in a black dress that reaches till the middle of her thighs. She wears a red leather jacket that looks like my moms and black boots up to her knees. Around her neck are a few necklaces and her brown hair goes down to the middle of her back.

It looks like her eyes glow red and she has a cut on her forehead.
She is gorgeous and freaking attractive. I can't take my eyes off her but the scene gets cut and we see Clint shooting a few arrows.
Laura gasps a little next to me but he doesn't get hurt and does a pretty good job, so she relaxes a little.
Steve and Tony also do a great job and then I see my mom, shooting a robot with her gun and quickly pulling the second one out of her thigh-holder and shooting another one behind her.

I have to admit that I feel pride rising up in my chest. That's my mom there, fighting the bad guys.
A little smile creeps onto my lips and I watch her fight until they cut again and show some strange red guy.
After a few more shots, the girl is seen again and I stare at her, not being able to look away from her beauty. She's really pretty and has a bit of a mesmerizing effect on me.

The report ends a bit after that, announcing that the Avengers saved the civilians of Sokovia before Thor destroyed the flying city before it would become even more dangerous.
Ultron is also defeated and everyone is very thankful that the Avengers, once again saved the people.

A/n: We saw Wanda for the first time and of course crush on her. I mean, who could blame us?
