Vibrant colours

I used to see so much colours,

Colours that dazzled in the daylight,

That glimmered golden tones.

I saw colour in the grey world.

You gave me this sight,

You gave me hope and love,

You gave me brightness to see the colours.

Vibrant colours that illuminate hearts.

A million tones of silver, lilac, and azur,

A million colours of hazel, golden, and rose

A million gradients upon the horizon line,

A million lights to the eye, setting to the dawn.

Now all is grey,

In the old times the pictures were dark,

Only of black and white.

No vivid colours to admire.

Maybe the photo had the best pair of eyes,

A pair to see that this world wasn't of colour,

That this world was only black and white,

With no pity or beauty.
