"𝒲𝒽𝒶𝓉? You can't be serious!" both of us shout.

"I'm not joking," Mommy calmly explains.

"Are you sure it's not a prank? A six-week road trip?" I confirm.

"Lifetime says it'll be a big hit. And aren't you excited to spend more time with your sister?" Mommy asks.

"Why can't I just stay with Nonna out in Nevada?" Iris groans.

"Because this will be more fun! Memories!" Mommy reasons.

"Where are we going first?" I ask.

"Uncasville, Connecticut in a month," Mommy answers

"Connecticut's so tiny! There's nothing to do there!" Iris shouts.

I can't believe Lifetime would do this to us! This was supposed to be a six-week docs-series that was going to save the studio from going bankrupt. Now it's turned into an eleven to twelve-week production for a full television series.

"Wait, does this mean that we don't have to have dinner with Logan anymore?" Iris asks.

"He's coming over this Wednesday and until late June since we'll be in town, but no," Mommy sighs.

"Alright, we're a little more interested," Iris jokes.

"You know that it's hurtful to me when you guys do this. I do love Logan and I know you guys are sad about Dad, but we all have to move on," Mommy confesses.

"Whatever," Iris scoffs, leaving the kitchen bar.

"I don't think Logan's that bad," I say.

I used to hate Logan. I'm not saying I'm the biggest fan of him, but I'm warming up to him. The more that he shows up, the more I'm starting to realize he's a genuine guy. He's dated Mommy for a couple of months, but he's shown up to dance performances and dinners.

"Thank you, honey, but I need some alone time right now," Mommy states.

Hopefully, she'll feel better tomorrow.

"So Maddie, what did Cesar say in New York?" Nia asks, touching her toes and bending down.

"I don't want to make you guys feel bad," Maddie whines, in her right split.

"We're not mad. It's our mothers who are mad," Paige points out, in her straddle.

"Please, what did he say?" Nia pushes.

"He said if I was in New York to stop by. He said he's going to take my headshot around too. Hopefully, over the summer, I might get an audition," Maddie reveals.

"That's awesome!" Brooke exclaims.

Maddie smiles politely and keeps stretching.

"So what do you guys think about the road trip?" I ask.

"I wanna stay home!" Mackenzie whines.

"Mom isn't happy," Vivi-Anne adds.

She normally doesn't talk a lot when we warm up, so this is new.

"Why isn't she?" Chloé asks.

"Because we have to drive two hours here every Monday to get here and stay in a hotel. She says she doesn't want to drive farther," Vivi explains.

"We have to bring Clara and they'll hire a nanny," Chloé reveals.

"Girls, come on, let's go!" Miss Abby yells.
