"Sh*t her water broke!" Irena yelled

Irena pointed out the visible wetness in the sand under Alora.

"Oh my god!" Axel yelled before picking up Alora and running to his car with her in his arms.

"We gotta go!" Amira yelled at the crowd

"We'll take care of the body!" Cedric yelled

"Tell Mara to come she has Devine!" Liam screamed

It was a tornado of nervousness and panic. People were yelling and running while cars were screeching and driving away from the beach. Axel gripped the steering wheel and glanced over at Alora repeatedly while trying to keep his eyes on the road.

Alora breathed in and out loud as she gripped her stomach.

"It's getting hard to breathe!" Alora yelled out

"We'll be there before you know it!" Axel said trying his best to reassure her

Axel sped up ahead a bit trying his best not to exceed the speeding limit but at this point, he didn't care. Alora needed to get to the hospital FAST!

"See it's up ahead!" Axel screamed

Axel drove up ahead quicker passing by honking cars. He made it to the hospital quicker than usual. Axel parked in front of the emergency residence before exiting his car. He opened up the passenger door and lifted Alora. Shutting the door with his hip he ran with Alora into the hospital.

"Help! My Wife! She's in labor!" Axel screamed

Nurses rushed to him with a wheelchair taking Alora to seek medical attention. Axel followed the nurses behind nervously. His palms felt sweaty as if he ran a marathon. His neck was hotter than a summer day in the desert.

"Where is she?" Farrell said rushing towards Axel

All of the team had made it to the hospital as well. It was overcrowded but they wanted to be present for the birth.

"She's in the emergency room. The doctors haven't allowed me in" Axel said

"She'll be fine and so will the baby" Manuel said

"Dad!" Devine screamed

Axel lifted Devine into his arms and held her up.

"Looks like you're going to be a big sister today!" Axel said excitedly

"Is it a boy or girl?" Devine asked

"It's a surprise actually," Axel said

"I can't wait!" Devine squealed

The doctor finally walked out of the room.

"Are you here for patient Alora?"

"Yes we are," Axel said

"Where's the baby!" Devine said excitedly

"You'll see the baby soon," The doctor said flashing a smile at Devine

"She's in the surgery room at the moment for an emergency c-section. There are signs of maternal distress as well as fetal distress. Both the baby and the mother weren't receiving enough oxygen. It's best we deliver the baby as soon as possible. It'll be a premature baby but with our ICU care the baby will surely make it." The doctor said

"What does this all mean? Well, can I see her?" Axel asked sounding worried

"Maternal distress is when the mother goes through a period of emotional stress during her pregnancy. It can cause harm to both the baby and the mother. The baby has also been affected by what is called fraternal distress when the baby isn't receiving oxygen. You'll see her once the operation is complete and when we're done running some test on them" The doctor said before leaving
