*Flashback* (Grace is 14 at that time)

Eric and I were currently looking through some old poetry books, in order to find some appropriate ones for the next Literature class.
I was looking through 'Poems and Texts 2005' at the moment huffing out of frustration when i didnt find a single decent writing.
"Found anything yet?", Eric yells from the other side of the library, earning a sharp glare from the Ms. Hawkings, the librarian.
"Nope.", i answer, a little bit more quiet.

After about 5 hours of us not finding a single poem we actually approved of, we sat at the big table in the center of the library looking into the oldest and biggest poem book they had.
"If we dont find anything soon , im gonna lose it.", Eric said through gritted teeth, containing his anger and frustration.
I always found it so funny that he could get angry that fast.
"Hey, look at this one. Its beautiful.", i mutter and brush through the bold letters on the old paper. It was written in bold cursive black letters and it read:

'Deep in the meadow, under the willow
A bed of grass, a soft green pillow
Lay down your head and close your sleepy eyes
And when again they open, the sun will rise

Here its safe, here its warm
Here the daisies guard you from every harm
Here your dreams are sweet
And tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where i love you.'
