Papa ka jawab

Sid told me to tell papa everything at first I was shock but then I felt that it is the right thing to do as I don’t want to hide anything from papa so I went down to talk to him, honestly I was feeling very nervous and I didn’t know how to confront him but I know I have to do this, most of the time Sid used to talk in my behalf but today I know I myself need to talk to him first before Sid talks to him so I went down and sat beside him and gave him a sheepish smile
I didn’t know how to start the topic so I looked back where Sid was standing and he blinked his eyes at me giving me assurance
“papa” I said finally and he looked at me smiling
“I want to tell you something” I said again
“yes bache tell me” he said smiling

“papa you remember you have told me that I can tell you whenever I will like someone” I said with a shivering voice
OH god it’s too difficult to talk about this to my father

“yes bache tell me” he said placing his hand on my head giving me assurance

“papa…. I….. I vo….. I love Sid” I said finally closing my eyes

“what?” that’s what I heard from him and I immediately opened my eyes to find him staring at me with shocked expression and then he looked back probably at Sid

“Sid is it true?.... do you too have feelings for Sana?” he asked with a serious face and Sid came forward

“yes uncle… its true we both love each other” he said with confidence

“and uncle before taking any decisions please listen to me I know I am not well settled yet and I may not be a best for your daughter but uncle I really love her a lot….. I will work very hard to fulfill all her dreams and desires and I will never let a lone tear escape from her eyes I promise….. and I know that you were considering Sam for Sana but I will prove myself better for Sanu….. please uncle give me a chance…. Please” he said with a teary eyes and I was aww of him I wanted to kiss my right now ‘my bebu’ but papa’s next word make me shock

“no….” he said with a angry expression and I was felt like world stopped revolving

“how can you even think like that Sid…. Maine tujpe itna bharosa kiya and tune kya kiya” papa said with a disappointed lacing in his tone and I felt my heart churn I looked at Sid who was looking helpless too

“uncle…. Please I always tried to be best for you…. You are like my dad to me and about Shehnaaz I promise to keep her happy always…. She is my everything…. My world and I won’t be able to live without her please give your blessing to our relation” he said folding his hand

“he is trying hard to convince my father and I think I should help him too” I thought

“yes…. Papa I really love him…. Please don’t say no…. sid is best person inside out and he is the best guy that any girl can had….” I said to him with teary eyes

“no…. Shehnaaz you will marry Sid and that’s my final decision and I you want to choose Sid then you have to forget your father” he said making my eyes widen “what I can never do that neither I can marry Sam nor I can forgot my father I love them both” 
I started crying listening him when I heard my father’s laughing voice, I and Sid looked at him with shock

“sorry sorry Sanu please don’t cry” he said taking me in a hug “I was just teasing you guys” he said making me confuse
I looked at him with confused expression
“it means that you have no problem with our relation?” Sid asked
And I bite in anticipation of their answer

“off course not in fact I am happy I am very happy with this…. Sid se acha toh mere beti ke liye koi ho hi skta…. I always longed for you both to be together” he said making them happy

“thankyou uncle…. Thankyou so much” Sid said hugging my father and bend down to touch his feet and take his blessings “but uncle then why did you thought about Sam?” Sid asked to him
“beta…. I wanted to settle Sana and I talked about Sam with you to know your perspective I didn’t wanted to ask you directly about this as I know tu mujhe kabhi mana nahi karta and I didn’t wanted to force you for anything and I thought agar tujhe Sana pasand hogi then you will tell me at that time but you didn’t said anything breaking my hope so I talked to Sana and at that even she didn’t told me anything” he said clearing their doubts

“but now I am very happy for you both….. meri beti bhi ab mere pass hi rahegi humesha” he said with a genuine smile and took Sid and Sana in a hug
They both looked towards each other and smiled, they were happy that their relation is now official and now they don’t have to fear about anything

Breaking the hug Sukh ji said “ I have to go now meeting hai” he said with a smile and sidnaaz nodded

As soon as he left Shehnaaz immediately jumped on him excitement “yayyy….. I am so happyyyyyy….. papa ne pehle toh dara diya tha….”  She said clinging to him
“yes baby I am happy too…. Uncle ne ek minute ke liye toh jaan leli thi…. I felt like my world is snatched from me when he refused me…. But now I am relived” he said cupping her face and kissed her forehead when they heard a sound of clearing throat

“I am still here” he said and they both separated immediately with embarrassment making Sukh ji laugh and he went up

“So chale… or else you will get late….” Sid said and she nodded and they both left for the studio

Sana was constantly rubbing her palms in nervousness which was noticed by Sid
“babyyy…. Relax….. don’t take this much stress”  he said halting the car in front of studio

“Sid maine koi practice nahi ki….”

“so what? just have confidence in yourself” he said  “okay come here” he said pulling her towards himself and she leaned on him feeling relaxed
He rubbed her palms lovingly and kissed her forehead and bend a little to take her lips in his for a gentle kiss

“ all the best…. And remember you are the best…. Jo bhi song ho just close your eyes and feel it and you will surely rock it” he said making her smile she kissed his cheek and got down
They went inside the and she met everyone, and then sat there waiting for her turn which came after some time
“go” sid said kissing his forehead but Sana held his hand “come with me” she said and Sid nodded they both entered

“so miss shehnaaz I have heard your praises from everyone so lets see what you do today the judge said and passed her a bowl “choose one chit” he said as the songs were written on that chit
Sana looked towards Sid who blinked his eyes and she took out a slip
So miss shehnaaz your song is……...
