in the two hours Caroline has been home she couldn't sit still. she needed to go help her friends, she tried everything to pass the time, shower, clean her room, rearrange her room, even do homework she already did. but nothing worked. so she laid in bed looking up at her ceiling waiting, she didn't know for what but she just waited.
stumbling was heard from her balcony catching her attention, she grabbed a text book from school holding it up as the door opened getting ready to swing when she was greeted by blonde hair.
"JJ?" she asked.
"hey, gorgeous." he smiled, she tossed her book down back on the bed with a sigh throwing her arms around his neck.
"scared the shit out of me." she said.
"sorry, gorgeous. but we gotta go we need your help." his arms were around her waist hugging her tightly.
"what's going on?" she asked pulling back looking at him.
"Rafe has the cross, he's at his house and we're gonna get it back or try to at least, but we need your help, Sarah has a plan." he informed her tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.
"i'm in big trouble already, J." she lowered her voice so her parents wouldn't hear.
"please." he whispered taking her face in his hands, "we need you."
Caroline looked at her door the back at JJ, she nodded as he smiled quickly kissing her running out to the balcony. Caroline grabbed a piece of paper writing her parents a quick note leaving it on her bed before she got changed into a pair of shorts, a t shirt and her usual converse. grabbing her phone and sweater, Caroline turned off all the lights in her room before walking to the balcony to meet up with JJ.
"we're here to save a Pogue named Ace, do you happen to know her?" John B asked looking up at the balcony.
"no sorry, try next door." Caroline chuckled as JJ climbed down.
"don't fall when you climb down." JJ said once he reached the ground and Caroline climbed down.
"i know, i know." once she reached the bottom she dusted her hands greeting her friends.
"hi." she smiled.
"we gotta go to my house, the cross is there and if we go now we'll have enough time." Sarah explained to her friend.
"okay come on, let's go." Caroline ran to the twinkie taking one last look at her house.
once everyone was in the twinkie, the drive to the Cameron house wasn't too long since Caroline only lived a few seconds away, when they all climbed out hiding behind the wall seeing Rafe pulling up to the house.
