Camping

Diablo pov:

We finally arrive at our camping destination. The amount of peoples that participating in this seem to be not that much

5 teachers 5 volunteers and 30 middle schoolers. I wonder if 10 of us is enough to overseeing the kids

"Hey lady, we are gonna go set up our tents, wanna join?"

One of the volunteers suddenly approach carrera who is standing beside me. So they already form a group huh?

Carrera for some reason seemed to be pissed, but i really don't to create a trouble as soon as we arrived

'just go. avoid getting in trouble as hard as you can'

I send her a telepathy, she seemed to want to say something but i don't give her any chance to speak and push her to join them

She let out a sigh and reluctantly follow them. They seem to ignored me entirely but i don't really care

It seems like the two mans is friends even before they came here, so by pulling carrera in their group they probably want to take the lead in volunteers group since they got 3 peoples on their side.

'as expected from a simple minded apes.'

Sigh, but working alone here might be more beneficial for me though.

"It seems that you are all alone"

The girl with long black hair and a beautiful cold face suddenly speak to me. She seemed to be grom volunteers group too, which mean she has no right to talk about it.

"Well, so do you. You are not in the group with those two, which mean you are alone too"

It will be a different story if she is acquaintance with one of the teachers though

"Hmph, unlike you i chose to be alone."

The girl then left without giving a glance. Such insolent attitude when you yourself is alone is slightly displease me, but i need to let it slide this time

'well, whatever goes i guess'

I then start walking to the camp side where all the teachers and volunteers setting up tents

I asked shizu for my tents since every teachers and volunteers got their own individual tents and start setting up at the place where they instructed

"Hm?"

"What an unpleasant coincidence."

It seems my spot i just beside that black haired girl earlier, truly what an unpleasant coincidence.

"Yeah, i guess"

I ignored her and proceed to setup my tents and immediately get inside to sort my stuff up

After i'm done with all those things, i decided to sit down for a while and take a look at my phone

Nothing interesting, sigh, i should go get some water bottles with me

I get up and exited the tent, as i was on my way i saw the black hair girl seemed to not finish setting up her tent

"Is there a problem?"

I decided to be generous and asked to which to girl just continue to ignored me while struggling with her tent

Sigh, this is really troublesome. I then went to her and put the rods in the correct way and immediately seal it with the nails on the ground

"That's how you do it"

I said to her and immediately get ready to leave

"Thank you..."

I heard her mutter and just slightly waving my hand signalling that it is not a big deal

After about an hour, the teachers called all the volunteers to come and gave us some briefing regarding our job in here

'so you alright over there?'

'pretty much so. Those two seem easy to get along with, how about you?'

'nothing much. Just enjoying my lone time'

'damn you lucky bastard'

I then just chuckles slightly toward carrera statement though i can understand why felt that way, we are a godlike beings so to associating with mere human must be disgraceful for her

The briefing take a while and only finished when the sun seemed to about to setting down.

Carrera already went to her group while i is heading toward my tent with two water bottles in my hands

I then saw the black hair girl sitting outside her tent with her portable chair and reading a book

'should i greet her? Yea, probably i should'

I then went to her

"Yo, what are you reading?"

"The great gatsby"

The great gatsby? What the hell is even that? Is this the trend for young humans now?

"I see, want some water?"

"Thank you"

The girl then take the bottle from my hand and start drinking it, she seemed to want give it back to me but i just asked her to keep it

"You don't want to greet the other volunteers?"

I asked her

"I need to. Maybe tonight at dinner, how about you?"

"Well, they just ignoring me since the beginning so i see no need to get involved with them"

After i said that, the girl seems to be silent for a while before she asking again

"You....want to be alone?"

"No? I of course want to befriend them, but they just seemed to have no interest in me so i can't do much"

The girl suddenly closed her book and stare at me with cold eyes

"You are the type the i hate the most"

She then proceed to go inside her tent leaving me all alone

I don't even know what's her problem to be that angry. Well, whatever i guess
