A day passed, and I can feel the eyes of everyone looking at me as if I really killed her.

I heard someone knock and opened the door
"M'lady"
I turned around and saw Theodore, his hair is messy and he looks very tired
"Prince Severus wanted to see you," he said and yawned
I walked toward him, "He's here?"
"He's in the palace."
"I see,"
He turned around and he keeps yawning, we both rode the carriage and went to the imperial palace
I just notice that a lot of guards are guarding the palace today, what happened?
The carriage stopped at the gate
"Hey!" A guard shouted after he saw me, "Murderer is not allowed in the imperial palace!"
"Someone is getting fired today" Theodore whispered
He went out of the carriage and talked to the guard
I don't want to hear their conversation, but if I can do anything, that is to change my goddamn fate in this novel again
Thalia's gone but somewhat I always feel someone is getting ready to stab me in my back
Theodore got in again and the carriage then the guards let us enter the palace
Prince Severus is in his office, he looks busy and just like Theodore, his hair is also messy than usual
"You wish to see me, your highness?" I asked
He looked at me, his eyes is starting to have dark circles as if he didn't sleep for days
"Yeah, I have to tell you something," he said
"What is it, your highness?"
"Someone bailed Sera out of the prison,"
"When and who?"
"I checked the papers today and Sera's name is not in it. We don't know who the heck bailed her out, but the only paper that has her name was like 2 years ago"
"What? So you're telling me that she's rooming around the empire for 2 years now?"
"Unfortunately yes. It's dangerous Eloise, remember when there's a noble man who died and no one recognized him because of the scars on his face?"
"I heard about that"
"He looks like he was attacked by an aggressive creature but then when they examine the body, there's a mark and it's clearly from a human"
"Do you think Sera killed him?" I asked
"I have no idea, it's not even confirmed that she really killed the man. There's no enough evidence and no one knows where she's hiding now." He replied
The problems are now coming at us once again
"And about the accusations against you, I know you can fight for yourself but just so you know I'm always here if you need me" he flashed a smile
I bowed down to him, "Yes your highness."
Suddenly, he walks toward me and kisses my forehead
"I believe in you" it's his last words before leaving me in his office
I looked at his back as he walks away
There's a strange feeling inside me, I can't describe it in words and I don't know what it is
But I know for sure that I still can't completely trust any of these male leads
