Plot twist: You already know I love her.

I'm in love with an idiot. A gorgeous one if I can add.

The blanket bunches at her waist, leaving her stomach exposed. Her long brown silk like hair lays flat against the pillow, tickling my nose each time I breathe.

I watch her with so much interest. The way she smiles in her sleep, makes me want to scoot closer to close the gap between us. Even if we're already way too close. Theres so much more room to push away.

But I stay rooted to my spot, not daring to move. Until a soft knock hits the door.

"Come in." I say as I pull the blanket to cover Katalina.

Azariah peaks through and whispers. "Uh, you have a guest."

"I do?"

"Yeah..."

"Lo go, I know who it is by the way Zariah said it." Katalina says, her voice deep. "I'll be out in a second."

I don't bother putting a shirt on and push open the door and follow Azariah to the living-room.

"She insisted that she be seated in the house instead of outside." He says. Athena sits at the island holding a cup of pog juice. He comes closer and whispers into my ear. "We tried to kick her out but she won't budge."

Azariah turns my body towards the couch. Oh hell nah. I turn around and zoom into Katalina's bedroom, seeing the bathroom door shut. I grab my hoodie and slide it on.

"Skylar what the fuck are you doing here?" I thought we figured this out awhile ago and I clearly remember telling her to not come back and that we were done. "You are the most annoying person I've ever met." I groan.

Katalina appears out of the hallway and walks into the kitchen giving Azariah and Athena a hug. She takes a sip of the juice, Thena was holding.

Skylar rolls her eyes. "I still think we have unfinished business to talk about," she uncrosses her legs. "And to be fair I gave you time to think stuff over and have your alone time."

My shoulders sag. "You've got to be shittin' me. "Do I need to get you some hearing aids? Did you not hear me the last time I told you? That we were never a thing, and to fuck off?"

I bite my lip in frustration.

"Now that's sexy."

My lips fall into a thin line. "Everything," I point in a zig-zag formation. "You do is fucking ugly, don't compliment me. My girlfriend is right there."

She smirks. "You think I care? She's one thing in the way from us getting back together."

She's not even talking about whatever the fuck she came here for.

"Don't speak about her that way." I say. "And we were never together. You have one second to start talking or I'm throwing your ass outside."

"Excuse me? One second-"

I look down at my wrist that doesn't have a watch. "Damn looks like your times up."

I hear a group of laughs behind me.

"Shut the fuck up. We were together, I knew we were. How can you forget? Don't you remember how you said you loved me?"

"Now hold on, I've never said 'I love you' to anyone other than my girlfriend. Two your absolutely fucking crazy. Get it in your fucking head that we were never together and that you seriously need to fuck off or I'm calling the cops for harassment." I finally say. My fist bawling up. "You've talked way too much shit to all of us. So I'm giving you the easy way out or the hard way, you chose."
