Y/n's POV:

"Y/n! I need your help."

"This again?! Why do you hate me, Merlin?" I groaned, looking up at the sky before closing my book shut. "What's wrong Callum, why are you freaking out?"

"Ok one, rude." He huffed. "And two, I have a situation."

"The situation being you like two guys and you don't know who to choose? Already know."

"Wow, you're bitchy at the moment." He walked over to my bed, where I usually sat early in the morning to read. At least, I was hoping to.

"Sorry, it's the Twins. They won't stop bothering me at the moment." I gave an apologetic smile. "Take a seat, I'll be staying up till at 3 am to finish this book either way."

"Thanks." He plopping done next to me and sighed. I waited patiently, hoping that he'd finally tell me what was going on, and he did after a few minutes of more awkward silence.

"I think George knows that I like him." He suddenly blurted out.

I paused. "Knows... that you like him?"

"Yeah."

I tried my best to pretend I didn't already know this information, covering it up as best as I could with a look of surprise. "He really- I never would've... gosh, that's a shocker."

Callum rolled his eyes, knowing that I was lying but, thankfully, didn't question it. "I know, he asked me about it earlier and..." He trailed off.

"And?" I asked, waiting for him to continue.

He paused. "And I... didn't tell him."

"You didn't? Callum-"

"I know, I know. But if I'm being honest, I don't think he needs to know. I already know he doesn't like me like that and I sorta- already made my move on someone else."

I stood up, gasping excitedly. "You told Oliver?!"

Callum practically jumped out of his skin, pulling me back down to my bed and put a hand over my mouth. "Are you insane?! Are you trying the get everyone else to find out? This is between me, you. Got it?"

I murmured against his hand and he finally let me go. "So I can't even tell Lee?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"Fred?"

"Nope."

"Not even Percy?" I asked.

He shook his head, again.

"But he already knows everything!" I explained. "And he wants an update."

He sighed reluctantly, shaking his head - yes. "Fine. But only because he already knows everything else."

I grinned, hugging him. "Oh, thank you!" Callum sighed, rolling his eyes before happily returning my hug.

I was happy to say that we had grown even closer since October, where we had first become friends, even though it had taken a while for us to open up. It had taken a little of getting used to him being gay, mostly because of the fact that when I first met him he still thought of himself as straight and I had a crush on him, but if I'm being honest - I'm glad things didn't work out between us. There was a huge gap between friendship and relationship stuff, and I don't think we where ever really able to be anything more than platonic. Don't get me wrong, I love him dearly, but I do think that eventually... things just wouldn't have worked out. Even if he was into women.

We where different in a sense that would have worked for a friendship, but not at all romantic. He had grown into himself a little more and became more adventurous and extroverted, whereas I was a bit much and needed someone who was able to be a bit more relaxed and patient with me. He needed someone more like him, fun and adventurous without putting themselves into too many crazy situations. I don't think we would have helped eachother in that sense. That's why I was glad to hear about his crush on Oliver, knowing how good he would be for him as long as he didn't involve himself in Quidditch. And of George to, knowing how well they would've been together to.

He soon let go of me, and I drummed my fingers against my legs before asking, "sooo... how did it go? And I want all the details, please."

Callum ran a hand along the back of his neck, his shy persona back again. "Welll... we didn't do much talking per say."

I gaped, my jaw on the floor. "You guys finally kissed?! When? What? How?" I gasped again, but even louder than I did the last time. "Was it before game night? I knew something must have happened!"

"Oh my Merlin." He laughed. "You need to calm down, I don't need anyone else hearing."

"You still didn't answer my question." I crossed my arms.

Callum reluctantly continued. "You where right, it was just before... game night. And we may have kissed a little longer than what you would consider 'kissing'." He used quotation marks to get his point across.

"Oh my Merlin, I knew it!" I yelled, throwing my arms up in the air in celebration. "This has got to be the best day yet."

"Yes but Y/n-" Callum interupting my mini celebration. "We haven't exactly talked about it since then and... because we now share a room, I don't think Mrs. Weasley will allow it knowing that we're..."

"Banging?"

"Merlin Y/n, no!" He laughed again. "But she'd might have to move things around, and you might be forced to share a room with one of the Twins."

I let out a groan. "Please no, I've had enough of them already. They're so exhausting!" I whined.

Callum raised his arms up in defence. "Just saying, if you keep squealing like a school girl, Molly might find out."

"Fine, I get it, I'll shut up." I chuckled.

Unfortunately, Lunchtime hadn't exactly gone as planned. Callum and Oliver where both so unsually silent that it was incredibly awkward, Ginny not her usual self with Harry in the same room as her and Fred and George deciding to have a food fight to ease some of the tension. And now, most of the amazing food Molly, Percy and I had also prepared the other day was ruined and they where stuck cleaning it up by hand. I had offered to help, much rather helping the Twins clean up the mess than to be stuck in the lounge with Callum and Oliver both being awkward messes.

While we where busy cleaning, Molly had put on the radio as a way to motivate us. But it didn't work in the slightest. Instead, we where busy singing our hearts out and focusing more on using the mops as microphones than as cleaning tools. Just after the last song on one station had ended, Fred switched it to another, and much better, one.

We laughed and joked the entire time, singing the song very badly and off-key. But our absolutely horrific singing didn't stop us as we only continued to dance around the room. Fred used a broom laying nearby as a microphone to dramatically serenade us and we all burst into laughter, continuing on. And when the song had come to an end, George fell to his knees in a final solo bringing us all to cheers.

I'd never laughed so hard in my life.

This is what family was, I'd thought to myself.

But what I'd failed to notice while I was busy singing and dancing, was that Percy had stopped in his tracks when he'd come to grab a glass of water. His gaze softened when he saw me dancing with his family, swaying my hips to the music and laughing out loud. I also hadn't noticed him staring in awe as we continued on with a different song, or when Oliver mumbled, "Mate you're whipped." to his friend.
