I staggered back and held a hand to my head. What the hell was that?! Why even bother to show that to me?! I ran out of the office and straight into a wall.
"Watch where you're going."
Wait walls don't talk... I looked up and saw the face of Riddle boy himself. That monster! But he wasn't a monster yet... I had to change him to not kill my parents... To save the wizarding world.
"T-Tom." I squeaked, edging away slightly. "What a surprise to... Urr... Find you here."
"We both do go to the same school, Karen." He said coolly, his piecing eyes cutting into mine. He walked toward me a little and put his lips on my ear, with a sudden change of mood. "Come with me." He whispered, his voice becoming more velvety and soft to my ears.
What is he bipolar? Wouldn't surprise me if he was
"W-where?" I asked breathlessly, not acknowledging the fact I was walking away with a soon to be cold blooded killer.
"Just come with me." He whispered again before straightening up. He began to walk away but I skipped after him. "Okay." I said, nervous for all the wrong reasons.
My hair slowly turned to a muddy brown colour.
This really sucks. Why would anyone want this gift?
"Why is your hair doing that?" Tom whispered, while we walked.
"I have no idea." I said wondrously.
"You never used to be able to do it."
"You must know me well then." I said but it sounded more like a question which Tom ignored.
"It's rare." He said before silencing himself again.
Tom lead me down numerous stair cases and I wasn't even paying attention where we were going just on his perfect face. Now that was cheesy Katherine.
It was only when the cold air hit me so suddenly I snapped out of my 'trance'.
"Tom I don't think we're allowed out at this time..." I looked up at the starry night sky, the full moon shining dimly.
"You afraid of the big bad werewolves?" Tom said mockingly, smirking at me.
I flushed. "N-no." I said firmly putting my two feet outside the castle. "See I'm not afraid of- Wait... Werewolves?!"
Tom rolled his eyes as he shut the double doors forcefully. "Katherine I really hope Karen is smarter than you."
"We're the same person!"
"You just keep telling yourself that." Tom muttered as he strolled toward the direction of a forest.
I shrugged- he probably knew what he was doing.
A few minutes later we passed the first tree into the forest. There wasn't much light here and the silence was very eerie. Almost as if everything in the forest was watching us, waiting...
When we were quiet far into the forest, Tom finally came to a stop.
"Why did you bring me here?" I asked, finally saying the words haunting me for a while now.
Tom smiled widely at me. It seemed fake somehow.
"I needed to know something-" He began, his voice very calming. "-This is hard to say so please shut your eyes. I can't do it with you staring at me like that."
"Fine." I huffed, shutting my eyes tight.
"Okay, I need to know something..."
"Yes?" I whispered
Hands brushed my hair out of my face and trailed down my cheeks. I felt his breath on my face and I opened my mouth to say something but before I could the liquid forced down my throat stopped.
Tom grabbed my nose and clamped a hand over my mouth, forcing me to swallow before I suffocated. My head hurt and my eyes rolled upwards as I fell to a ground of leaves, twigs and moss.
"I really hope Karen is smarter than you." He chuckled darkly.
"Son of a bi-"
