The night sky was aglow with Inazuma city, bright city lights illuminated the night, and many citizens wore traditional Inazuman clothes.

People's faces lit up the atmosphere, and kids were running and screaming happily through the streets. Vendors were shouting, trying to sell their limited items.

Y/n was walking with Ayato in the crowded streets, she noticed Miko and Ei further down,

Miko and Ei hanging around at the festival?
Am I seeing correctly?!
And are they...FEEDING EACH OTHER LIMITED EDITION SAKURA DANGO!?

You were completely surprised, never have you ever thought Miko or Ei would confess to each other but here they are, feeding each other dango.

"You two beautiful couple! Over here!"A vendor yelled, he had the happiest smile on his face.

You and Ayato took a quick glance at each other before your husband spoke, "Mm us?"

"Of course! Care to try my famous mystery boba drink?"

"Yes!" Ayato cleared his throat, "Ahem, yes that would be great." The light blue-haired man was somewhat embarrassed for answering too excitedly.

The man started making your drinks, y/n walked to the side where she found a tree to lean against.

"Here are two boba drinks, one for you kind sir, and one for the beautiful lady." The vendor smiled, thanking Ayato and y/n for stopping by.

—Ayato's P.O.V

Beautiful lady?

I grabbed the drinks out of the vendor's hand before going back to y/n.
I couldn't help but stare at her longer than I should have.

The way she looks up at the night sky, her eyes filled with curiosity, her relaxed expression as she leaned against the tree.
I wanted to know what was going through her mind...especially when we were getting married.

During that moment, I couldn't help but feel guilty, we were two strangers who hardly ever interacted as adults and now we are stuck together...I do tease her here and there but I know little to nothing about her.

Even though we met when we were young, we're still strangers.

I'm sure she doesn't remember our interactions and even if she did, it wouldn't change anything.

The kid I was back then is no longer here.

The kid that expressed his feelings to her is no longer me.

—End of Ayato's P.O.V—

Ayato finally came over and handed you your boba...it looked rather suspicious-looking. The drink was awfully green.

If someone said it was matcha flavor, y/n wouldn't believe them.
"Umm, is this safe to consume?"

Oh who I am kidding y/n, anything is better than the cookies Ayato made. A shiver went down your spine, thinking back to that horrid moment.

"Of course, it's safe to consume, ever heard of the phrase, 'don't judge an oni by the look of their horns'?" Ayato scoffed.

"O-of course I heard of that phrase!" You violently consumed the drink in one go, you were under pressure, trying not to vomit this intense flavor.

It was wasabi flavored...curse this man.

The look on your face as you realized it wasn't matcha flavor was enough to make a grown man hysterically laugh.
