Matt x Reader: Possession

Important Notes: Ghost Talking

"Hey Y/N. I have a question for you" Matt says walking into my office.

"What is it?" I ask looking up at him.

"So I remember you telling me you could summon and speak to ghosts," Matt says nervously.

"Okay?" I say urging him to continue.

"So I was wondering, well the team and I was wondering if you could summon Wesley for us so we can speak with him," Matt asks.

I sigh as I rub my face, "Matt are you sure about this? There's no telling if we would actually get ahold of Wesley. You could end up bringing someone worse in like Nelson." I explain.

"I know. We are at a standstill at the moment and really could use some guidance. Especially with the S.P.I.R.E" Matt says.

"Alright fine. If this is really what you want to do. I will do it for you but I'm gonna need some things and you're gonna have to convince the team to do an overnighter since I can't do anything until 3 am" I explain.

"Just get me a list of what you need and I will get the team together," Matt says.

I reluctantly give Matt a list of everything I am going to need for tonight. Matt leaves and I got back to work.

When it was getting close to 3 am I led everyone to the warehouse of Red Base where the mountaineer was. I figured it would be the best place to start the seance since Wesley was murdered there.

"Okay so everyone needs to sit in a circle with a candle in front of them" I explain as I set up two candles in the middle. One white and one black. I move to dig in my bag to pull out a mirror and a fake skull.

"Please tell me you don't carry a skull with you everywhere you go," Woods asks.

I laugh, "No. I keep it in my car" I say.

"That's still taking it everywhere!" Woods says.

"I don't take it out of my car," I say as I lay the mirror flat on the ground with the skull on the glass. "Okay, so I want you all to light your candles. They will be your protection."

"How come you don't have a candle?" Bailey asks.

"I have one. It's in my bag. I have a specific candle I use so that I'm protected but I can still communicate with whoever is with us." I say as pull out my candle to show them. It was a white candle with black markings while theirs were just white. "Okay before we get started. Are sure you want to go through with this? I will remind you that we may not get ahold of Wesley."

"We are sure," Matt says.

I nod as I pull matches out. I take a deep breath as I light the match. "I am calling upon the spiritual realm as we open a portal between our realms. We are asking for you to come to speak with us and share your knowledge with us" I say as I light the candles in the middle. I sit back as I light the candle I had sat in front of me. "These candles are here for their protection. For as long as they are lit you will not touch nor possess them. You can however touch me and talk through me" I lean over and light Matt's candle with my own. I gesture for him to light Wood's candle who was sitting next to him. Everyone worked on lighting everyone's candle until it got to Sam's who was sitting on the other side of me. "Touch your flame to my flame just to close the circle," I say to her.

I set the candle down in front of me before sitting my hands palm up closing my eyes. I take a deep breath as listen around me. I could hear faint whispers but nothing that was clear. This meant that they were in another area of the studio.
