"Jace." Izzy says calling Jace. He turns around.

"Clary, we have to move." He tells her.

"I'm catching my breath." She says.

"You know what? This is great. And not only did Magnus get the girl her memories back, he took the necklace. This is, how Ariel says, fun-fucking-tastic—"

"Alec, the girl... her name is Clary and I highly suggest you keep your voice down." Jace says aggressively. Oop.

"Why? What, are you afraid I'm gonna upset her? We have risked our lives again and again for this girl, and where has it gotten us? All right? Nowhere. We're no closer to getting the Mortal Cup. And we're lost the institute's necklace."
Alec says.

"Hey, I am right here. I don't care about your damn jewelry. I'm sorry you're gonna look bad in front of your bosses, Okey? But my mother is still missing and my last chance at finding her just disappeared into thin air." She says loud.

"Let the whole world hear. And for the god damn hundredth time she's OUR mom." I say to Clary but once again she ignores me.

"Clary, it's gonna be fine." Jace says.

"No, it's not! People are dying because of me." Clary says.

"You got that right." I mumbled sike I said out loud.

"And Magnus? Magnus will never come out of hiding again while Valentine is still after him. We're never going to find him. And I will... I will never get my memories back." She says throwing something that Jace caught.

"You give up too easily." Jace says. He walks always.

"What is he doing?" Clary asks.

"He's tracking Magnus." Alec answered.

"Be quiet and keep your distance." Jace says.

"The button belonged to Magnus. Jace can pinpoint the location using that." Izzy says.

"No. The signals not strong enough. Magnus must be blocking the track. Let's do this, Alec." Jace says.
