Chapter 18: Sleep

I gather my belongings and start to head of the bus, making a one over check to make sure I have everything that belongs to me.

I get off the bus and start walking towards Sofia's home. It's not a long walk, maybe five minutes or so.

Once I get closer I ring the doorbell and wait for Sofia to answer

When she comes she Greets me with a hug

"Hey, it's so nice to see you come in and have a seat in the kitchen" Sofia says letting go of the long hug and walking in the direction of her kitchen

Sophia's home is very beautiful. it's very modern in the sense that the outside is made by white brick and the base colours are dark grey and oakwood. her house also gives a lot of natural light since her house has lots of windows.

The inside is even prettier.  she has an open floor plan that allows for easy flow from room to room and to bring her home feel like home her family has decorated it with a lot of modern furniture.

Once we get the kitchen Sofia asks if I want anything to eat or drink I respond with "just a glass of water would be fine"

She grabs me a glass of water and sits beside me on a stool

After that we just talk about random stuff like how we played games on her brothers consoles without him knowing or how we had sleepovers that consisted of us dressing up as princesses the whole night

Somehow, in the mist of talking in general about our lives, we got on to the topic of Zane, Ash, and Will

Now, I have noticed that two people that I call friends are hanging out a lot. Maybe someone named William and Sofia.

Yea, Now what type of friend would I be if I don't ask what's been happening. And by ask, I mean interrogate.

"So, speaking of William, you too have been very flirty with each other. Is there something I should know?" I say with trying but failing to suppress my grin.

What I can't help it. Sofia's never really been the type to have a boyfriend. That's kinda never really been her scene. But hey, if she's into Will, there is nothing but love coming from me.

When I look to see Sofia's expression she turns around and laughs out loud. Her facial expression was one of love, like she was day-dreaming of William. When she turns back around to look at me, her face is tomato red, and not like a slight blush, it's like full on blushing red. It looks like she is wearing makeup blush

"Oh my gosh! You actually like him!" I say getting up from my stool and jumping up and down because I'm so excited and thrilled that Sofia for once in her life likes someone. Sofia is just historically laughing her bum off

"Hey sit back down on your stool missy, and no I don't like him" Sofia says while gesturing with her hands for me to sit down.

She says she doesn't like him, yet she's the one going all blushy in the face

"Yea right you don't like him, you totally are in love with him." I say getting up from my seat and play-hitting Sofia on the arm.

What, I'm excited that she's going to get a boyfriend

I sit back down and try to calm myself yet I fail miserably. I'm back on my feet and am leaning  on Sofia trying to get as much information as I can

"Tell me what he's done. Has he given flower? How about roses? I swear if he didn't give you more than flowers, I will dig his grave and burry him alive-" I start of ranting but get cut off by the door bell ringing
