I start opening my eyes slowly. I smell a delicious scent of eggs and bacon. I walk over to my closet and put on my uniform. I grab my necklace that my Omma gave me.

It was beautiful, but I always kept it in a box so I wouldn't lose it.

(Btw "Omma" means "Mom" in Korean. It's actually spelled "eomma" But I spelled it "Omma" So it's easier to read for you guys. It's pronounced O-ma :) This is in my opinion/the way I want to present the word to my readers! You do not need to agree to this.)

I see Omma has already set my plate on the table, "Thanks for setting up my plate." I say. My Omma nods with a smile.

"Good morning Y/n! By the way is I-sak coming to eat breakfast here like usual?" My Omma asks.

"I don't really know. I'll text her right now, maybe she just woke up late."
I reply, as I grab my phone.

*Text*

"Hey, you coming over by any chance?" I type.

I set my phone down, as I sigh, "Maybe her phone died, I'm sure she'll come anyways." I reply.

Suddenly I hear a knock on the door, "It's probably I-sak, so I'll get it!" I call out.

I open the door and see Su-Hyeok instead. I stay quiet for a minute. I finally look up at him, "Oh hey.." I say.

"Sorry if I disturbed you Y/n-" I interrupt Su-Hyeok, "No, no! It's okay, you didn't disturb me at all!" I say.

He smiles, "I actually have to eat breakfast, so maybe tomorrow-" I get interrupted by my alarm.

"Would you give me a minute?" I ask. He nods, as I go to the kitchen, "I ran out of time, I'll have to skip breakfast sorry!" I say.

"It's okay, I just want you to have a good day at school." My Omma replies, as she hugs me.

"I love you, take care." I say while heading towards the door. I make sure to lock the door before stepping out.

I close the front door and step out,
"Ready?" Su-Hyeok asks me, "Yeah, I'm so sorry for the wait." I reply.

"It's alright." He replies. Suddenly, he starts running, as if he wanted to race, "Hey! Come over here!" I yell, as I try to catch up.

As I'm running, I grab my phone to check for any messages. Nothing arrived anyways.

*Your mind*

"I don't know if her phone died, but maybe she didn't see the message."

I put my phone away and continue to walk with Su-Hyeok while we talk about our childhood.

*Time Skip*

I decide to get my phone once again, but no messages of course.. I suddenly hear cars passing by..

"Y/n, watch out!" Su-Hyeok said yelling, as if he wanted to tell me something.

I finally stop looking at my phone, as I see a car heading towards me. My eyes widen, as I stare at the car completely frozen..
