I walked in the living room to find all my members there. I sat down as Beom-soo hyung stood in front of us.
"So what did Dispatch say this time?" Jiwoo asked
"Is it another rumor about Y/n?" Hyunwoo spoke
"As surprising as it may be, the rumors aren't about Y/n" manager hyung told us
"Wae is it surprising?" I asked confused
"You are the member with the most rumors, you hang out with all the industry, you compliment people out of nowhere, you don't care if you'll be seen with someone... Do I need to go on?" Jeong looked at me
"...ani. I got it"
"If not Y/n hyung, then who?" Minjun asked
"Cheng" he informed us
We all looked at Cheng surprised.
"Huh? Me?" he pointed at himself surprised
"Ne. They've got photos of you and Arin" he took his phone out and showed us the article
"You seem to have a lot of fun" Jiwoo noticed
"I need to know the truth so we'll handle it correctly...are you dating?" Beom-soo hyung looked seriously at Cheng
"Ani" he shook his head
"Is there an explanation for the pictures?" manager hyung asked
"...we were on a date" he sighed
"Jinjja?!" we were surprised
"You said that you aren't dating" Jiwoo looked at him confused
"We aren't. This was our first date. We aren't officially together" he explained
"I see..." Beom-soo hyung seemed to start thinking about our next step
"...am I in trouble?" Cheng asked
"Your dating ban was lifted a month ago. No one can prove that you are in a relationship and even if you were, no one can prove that you started dating before your contract allow it. You have nothing to be scared about" manager hyung reassured him and Cheng smiled relieved
"So what will we do about Dispatch?" I asked
"We'll deny the rumors of course" Beom-soo hyung looked at me
"But what about the pictures? You can clearly see who they are" Jeong pointed out
"That's true" our manager nodded
"I have an idea!" Minjun exclaimed
"What is it?" Jiwoo asked
"When Y/n hyung had his first rumor with Solar noona, you denied the rumors and hinted that they are having a project together" he said
"...I had forgotten that I had dating rumors with Solar noona twice" I commented
"Ah! That's a good idea. Maybe they can have a collaboration" Hyunwoo spoke
"Hm... maybe. Cheng, get ready and we'll head to the company. They are waiting for us"
Time skip a week later
"So what can I help you with?" JYP asked me as we walked in his room in the company
"I want you to check a song we've been working on" I answered
"Plural?" he sat down
"I wrote the lyrics and Jeong hyung composed it and offered to produce it" I explained
