Sometimes our simple day to day activity can easily be interrupted without warning. Jin was currently trying to decide on something for breakfast as the rest of us began to gather in the main room to start our day. The rest of us minus Hoseok that is. The half Trickster was a bit later than usual, and it came as a surprise when he came down from the staircase leading to Everleigh's room rather than the hallway where all our bedrooms were located. I was also shocked by the fact that he was looking a bit rumpled. My alter sent me a mental picture of his feathers standing up on end in response; letting me know that he was somewhat irritated by the state the half Trickster was in. I calmed him by mentally reminding us both that she wasn't simply 'our mate,' but the mate of each member of our Legion. He forecasted his feathers lowering and falling back in place, but there was still a glint of agitation in his eyes.

I'm a bit taken aback by his annoyance. After all, it wasn't really uncommon for Fae to share a mate. In fact, when Fae tend to end up in groupings such as ours they almost always end up sharing a mate. The title of those groupings can vary. They tend to settle on naming their grouping after animal group names. Winter Fae tend to name their groupings after darker names; such as 'destruction' after the name for wild cats groupings, 'murder' after crows groupings name, 'shadow' after jaguars, 'pandemonium' after parrots, 'shiver' after sharks, just to name a few. The other courts don't tend to follow such strict guidelines, instead choosing to simply name their groupings with a word that would suit them. They do still tend to be named after animal group names though. We naturally refer to our grouping as our Legion, and have never strayed to call it something else despite the Fae blood that runs in each of our veins.

After I tucked my alter's near jealousy away I didn't have much time to react or recognize the warnings that we were about to have an unexpected visitor. The dark cloud infiltrates the main room and before I can even blink one of the Nalvdrekt appears menacingly before me from within the cloud of magic. I stumble backward half a step before I am able to regain my composure, and I happen to see Jungkook back out of the room from the corner of my eye. It doesn't take me long to identify who sent this Nalvdrekt due to the amulet around his neck. It is made of a gold chalice with amethyst grapes spilling out of the top of it. "Iztraxith." I nod in greeting after acknowledging his presence by addressing him by name. "I'm assuming that either Dionysus is finally out of his meeting or that Adephagia sent you."

While the Nalvdrekt race do have the ability to speak long ago we asked that should anyone send us a Nalvdrekt as a form of message delivery that they pursue a different way to share that communication alongside it, because their voices are quite harsh on our ears. So, I'm not at all surprised when Iztraxith hands me the shiny black gemstone we have been using. Communication stones aren't very easy to come by actually, and when I once asked Dionysus how he managed to obtain one he simply laughed it off and avoided the question by changing the topic.
